Although getting homogenized there are still cultural unique places here in east Harlem. Real estate agents are attempting to rename this upper yorkville but we will continue to fight that

Is it East Harlem?, is it Spanish Harlem?, El Barrio or SpaHa? Expect to be called out on any of the above. Food is relatively cheap. Rent..not so much. You can't beat the energy within the streets!

AKA El Barrio and East Harlem, phenomenal cultural destination. Visit 116th St, Third Ave (below 112), Lexington Ave by 103 for shops, food and festivals. Hear the sounds of Salsa and Freestyle music.
