Go for the burgers! The tap selection is pretty sexy as well. The servers are really knowledgable with pairing burgers and beer. I recommend the one pounder at medium well if you're hungry. #Juicy
The build your own burger concept is fun and I was able to create something pretty healthful. It is crowded with tourists though. But if you are in the hood it's a good option.

Get their namesake “The Counter” burger - beef burger, provolone, lettuce blend, tomato, fried onion strings, sautéed mushrooms, garlic aiolibrioche. Get the NYC pastrami burger if available!
Custom tailoredsandwiches, with options for vegetarians and they possibility to replace buns for salad. I got a classical beef, salad and Dijon mustard and it was excellent.
Great place for burgers. Just close your eyes and create your own burger, choose your toppings as many as you want. Don't forget, it is a custom built burger place!
The BBQ burger is delicious, the only thing I personally don't like is that they make you pay even for the BBQ sauce extra which is ridiculous... Good attention and excellent food anyway...
The veggie patties are vegan and you can select vegancheddar and a veganbun (ciabatta) for your burger. Lots of vegan-friendly toppings to add in as well.
Even the turkey parties are phenomenal. 2/3 turkey, jalapenojack cheese, chipotle aioli, roasted corn and black beansalsa, carrots strips, mixed greens, and hard boiled eggs on an English muffin!
Overall, a yes. Gave me peanut butter for my burger, technically not on the menu, so yes, awesome service. Lots of options actually on the menu. Only neg., my what bun was a little dry.
Offering four types of patty, 12 types of cheese, 33 toppings, 21 sauces and six types of bun (think: English muffin), The Counter makes it possible to build exactly 312,120 different burgers.
Awesome - get the 1/3 beef burger on english muffin with horse radishcheddar cheese, Tobasco, corn and black beans, chipolte and anything hot. YUMMMMM!
As hard as it may be to believe, but this is decent food in Times Square! Lots of different options to choose from. I HIGHLY recommend getting the English Muffin for the bun & adding a fried egg.
Love their burgs, but I ordered a Caesar salad ($8) and they gave me 2 long pieces of lettuce. I don't care if you're a burger place, take it off the menu instead of ripping people off.
