Beautiful old hotel/great location/3 star so set expectations accordingly. Staff very friendly and operate to high local standards. Inexpensive option in the heart of the city

For total pampering (or masochism, depending on your viewpoint!), try the Traditional Khymer massage at the day spa and massage centre. ★ "Is that strong enough for you, Mr David?"

If you can't bring youself to venture out for dinner, room service is very reasonable, the dishes are beautifully presented and tasty.
