- Jon NarongMay 4, 2014Uni with soft boiled egg, grilled yellowtail collar, crispy rice balls were standouts. Be warned: huge portions for izakaya.
- joanne reiterMay 27, 2016Love this place: favs are salmon carpaccio, pork belly salad, agadashi tofu, shrimp tempura, gyoza, cuke salad to name a few things.
- Tom McGhanMay 9, 2011The grill here is awesome. It's fueled by wood charcoal and adds amazing flavor to anything cooked on it. It also helps that they cook everything perfectly! Korean BBQ and Pork belly are the best :-)
- Almost everything is great here. Start with clam ramen, crispy onigiri, and sushi salad.
- Caroline DengAugust 20, 2015Curry Rice with Cheese and Stir Fry Yakisoba! Great Japanese food but extremely poor service.
- Isabel McPhersonDecember 28, 2011Berkshire pork bowl is the best! Make sure you mix in the egg with the rice -- super yummy
- Kourosh BehnamDecember 12, 2015All of our food was served at different times. The food was standard and the service was terrible. When we got the bill, they wrote in a 40% tip themselves without even telling us before hand.
- Flora MorrowNovember 21, 2012Tako salad is good!!! (May need to ask for it since it may not be in the menu)
- Josie C.August 25, 2013Definitely make a reservation even if you plan to arrive before they open. According to waiter, they are not affiliated with Tanto, the restaurant that used to be at this location.
- J SAugust 5, 2022Spicy karaage, salmon clay pot, okonomiyaki were all disappointing. Only good thing was the yaki onigiri.
- Hung T.August 21, 2013Service was kind of meh. Since they were already billing a tip (18% for a party of 5+), they neglected us and only came by with the bill (they even skipped two of our orders).
- Garlic steak, agedashi tofu, sashimi salad, clam ramen, yaki onigiri
- Formerly Tanto. Menu is pretty much the same. Asari Ramen & Kuro-Buta-Meshi are delish!
- Seriously, make a reservation. They ran out of uni at 8:30 on a Sunday night. That was unfortunate...
