Best library in town. Open Mon-Sat. For the wifi, Belgian residents (with a Belgian ID) can buy the membership at 5€/year. Others need to pay 2€/day... Toilettes have also a cost: 0.50€/use

Smartphone battery in need of some juice? Got a cable? Go to the 3rd floor and install yourself either in a cubicle, a spot by the window or in the big "Multatuli" reading-hall! Totally free! 👍👍👍

An airy library managed by the Flemish cultural dptm. with a welcoming attitude (rare in Belgium's public institutions). Good and affordable gadgets and stationery. Also coffee. Clean lavatories 50c

Very cool library. Refurbishment made it really easy and accessible. Lots of choice. You can return books even after closing hours using the hatch on the left side (wall adjacent to la monnaie)

Moi! nice place! if your a book worm, this is your place. Anyone can just walk in and read. To take away the book, you need subscription.

To use the Wifi:- register for membership at front desk (needs an ID card, and a Belgian address)- pay your €5 annual fee at the machine- your name is your username, your card barcode the password

Nice library. Pity they didn't bother translating signs and borrowing instructions - would make sense in such a cosmopolitan city. Instead I had to waste time of very affable staff...

Op de 1ste verdieping is een leuke belevenisbibliotheek voor kinderen: lezen, spelletjes, knuffels, computerspelletjes, tekenen,... Goed idee voor een uitstapje op een regenachtige dag.

In de plaats van 50 cent te betalen voor het toiletgebruik (absurd) kan je beter naar de toiletten van het muntcafé gaan voor je sanitaire behoeften!

Gouden tip: drink maar niet te veel als je hier lang blijft, de wc-madam eist namelijk 50cent per beurt. Schandalig!
