Best thing about Birreria is its location, right next to the Flatiron Building. This is a gorgeous rooftop bar with great vibes, refreshing drinks and witty service. Dangerously awesome date spot!
Rusticrestaurant with an open rooftop in the summer and glass in the winter. A lot of beer selection. Formaggi and salumi boards are delicious. Pork sholder, steak and sausages are delicious.
ambience and vibe stands out when you get to this joint. when the sun is out in NYC, this is a great place to hangout and unwind. the food tastes as good as it looks.
Tell them you'll be eating, get a table and order some small plates to go with your beer. The Dude's Rug is a crazy refreshing cider on a hot day. Get a meat platter to go with it.
Mussels in beer broth app $18 were very small ones. 3 cheeses for $15 with plate of honey & walnuts. Best was shittake mushroom fritti $8. Reserve ahead to avoid wait and busy bar area
Plan in advance to come here with a big group so you can make a reservation - otherwise, you may be stuck with a very long wait to get up. Great selection of wine and beer!
Cocktails and ambiance are nice, but it gets very hot in the summer because it's kind of set up as a greenhouse. Still worth checking out on a cooler day!
Love the atmosphere here! Like being in a ski lodge. Best in summer with the roof off but cosy in cold weather too. Craft beers and excellent italian menu (don't expect pizza or pasta though!)
Take a trip to the 14th floor after gorging on Eataly eats and enjoy the enclosed roof. Great space. Loved the Red Sky IPA. And I want those beer glasses!!!
Airy, outdoorsy space. Food is simple and tasty - great for lunch. We loved the sweet, succulent pork belly sandwich with pickledred cabbage, arugula and heirloom potatoes ($15). Read more
If you like dogfish headbeer, this is one of the best places in the city. They'll call your cell to let you know when there's room.I generally shop for wine at the wine store next door to kill time.
Rooftop bar is AMAZING. We had to wait about an hour for just 2 people but it was worth the wait! We ended up shopping in the market downstairs. AMAZING gelato & coffee! Super authentic Italian.
Rooftop at Eataly can get busy during happy hour but if you can snag a table or a spot at the bar this is one of the nicest places in NY to get a drink.
Eataly's rooftop bar and restaurant is transformed for the summer into Sabbia, with bright decor to make you feel like you're seaside and a coastal menu to pair with the summer vibes.
Birreria has quite the innovative beer-garden menu, but we're particularly taken with the mushrooms (they work surprisingly well with beer!). Get the maitake mushrooms served over creamy pecorino.
What a great place. It had all kinds of awesome beer and I only wish I remembered the Belgium beer I had. It was like Leffe but it had a rose look to it and it was stored in wine barrels.
“It’s an insane Italian beer garden and rustic-style eatery in the sky. The food’s great and most of the beer is hand-crafted artisanal stuff from people like the legendary Dogfish Head dudes.”
Braised pork shoulder, apple, celery root and mustard. Cheeses with hazelnuthoney. Cold-cut meats. Excellent choice of beers. Roof top terrace. Book to save lining up.
Located on the rooftop of the Eataly food emporium and open year-round, it's not your typical biergarden. It offers up stunning skyline views and house-made brews served direct from stainless casks. Read more
Wonderful place to have a beer on rooftop. If you get here before or at 5pm, you can beat the rush of drones that takeover the roof. http://bit.ly/GS2c7s

If you are stuck in the city on a hot day, this is the place to hang. The craft beer is delicious and Birreria is a rooftop bar without the pretentiousness some others hold.
I shared 3 dishes with my friends. This is what I recommend: 1.the chicken, 2.pork shoulder, 3.blood sausage. Make sure to order a plate of all the cheeses and meats for starters too!!!!
Try the smoky Maitake con Pecorino Sardo. Tender roasted maitake mushrooms rest on a rich bed of Sardinian smoked sheep’s-milk cheese. It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
It's the "highest brewpub in America," brewing cask-only beers with Italian influences, thanks to the consultation of two Italian breweries and American favorite Dogfish Head.
Ricotta fresca w honey is amazing. Get the roasted carrots, beets and Brussels sprouts were also a great addition to the pork shoulder, which was flavorful and tender.
The beers - brewed here by Brooks Carretta - are named for famous Italian women. Try the Gina, an American Pale Ale brewed with thyme, or the Wanda, their dark English Mild brewed with chestnuts.
Delicious salmon and beer. My friend's steak was delish too. Will be back in the summer to further enjoy the rooftopbeer garden atmosphere. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
