- Welcome to Adelaide! Head to Gouger Street or Waymouth Street for food, Rundle Street or King William Road for shopping, and pretty much everywhere for drinks (pub on every corner)!
- Love that the city is saturated by greenery all around. Do take time to walk around and enjoy the parks and gardens.Upvoted Feb 23
- Laid back easy going city of South Australia. Great place to chill, not really a party scene. Keep away from Elizabeth and Salisbury!
- Michelle "Prakky" PrakJuly 15, 2013Free, new trams throughout the city centre: hop on and off as you like, it's fantastic.
- Adelaide is known as "the city of churches" but it's not because it has a lot of churches: it's because Adelaide's first settlers had the freedom to practise their own religion and form of worship.
- Michelle "Prakky" PrakJuly 15, 2013Looking for great places to eat? Adelaide is perfect for it: try the restaurant strips Gouger St, Hutt St, Rundle St, O'Connell St, Norwood Parade for starters.
- Adelaide Convention CentreJuly 15, 2013Adelaide is a picturesque coastal city that's easy to get to, easy to get around, easy on the pocket, and ‘green’.
- All of my past--and future (stay tuned!)--complaints still completely withstanding until they're fixed... the citywide free wifi is a mind boggling and uncharacteristically futuristic luxury. +1000!!
- Free buses in the city! Service 98 (includes N Adelaide) and 99. Goes in clockwise and anti clockwise direction.
- The 20 minute city... head to the beaches or the hills. All easy and fun
- If you're going to build a city on a horrifying genocide, you really need to get it right. Adelaide is as compelling an argument for human annihilation as I have ever experienced.
- In conclusion, I feel horrible for the hundred or so really wonderful people trapped here. A part of me wishes to advise their escape, except that broke my fall from grace. So I just commend them.
- In Adelaide during "Mad March"? Be prepared not to get much sleep because you'll be too busy at the Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Festival, WOMADelaide, Clipsal 500, Adelaide Cup and music festivals...
- Adelaide, sort out your embarrassing eating disorder. You don't have a food shortage, so you should be selling food for more hours of the day. Start with: more than half of the hours of the day.
- Hughes Public RelationsAugust 13, 2013Welcome to Adelaide! Head to Rundle Street (east of Rundle Mall) for the best food and shopping (and you'll find our office there!).
- Adelaide Convention CentreJuly 15, 2013Welcome to Adelaide, Australia's convention city! You'll find the Adelaide Convention Centre in Adelaide's CBD, on North Terrace.
- Visitors, don't come here without food. Or don't stay here for longer than three weeks, because you will starve to death. If you're some tiresome weightloss junkie, this is probably the city for you.
- ...Actually, if you have no wits about you, feel free to jaywalk anyway. Preferably before you breed. But you didn't hear this great advice from me, and I accept no responsibility for what you do.
- If you have any wits about you, figure out jaywalking in this town, and do it all the time. The traffic signals are apparently modeled after Sydney's broken, worthless system.
