sputneekMarch 22, 2017Update March 2017: A weekday craving for waffles and ice cream led to this oldie but goldie of a place for desserts. The chocolate ice cream was rich and complemented the crispy at the ends waffle.
Nat MOctober 2, 2013Quirky layout, friendly staff, tasty desserts. Recommend the Nutella pie and honey-cinnamon ice cream. Root beer cake was interesting. The rum & raisin and vanilla ice creams were too watered down.

kisacakeAugust 24, 2015Quaint place, mainly dessert fare. Weekend breakfast crepes are good, and they are very generous with the cream cheese on the salmon crepe! Cosy, and not crowded on early Sunday mornings.
Another popular dessert is their root beer cake with vanilla ice cream. It is a winner and will definitely satisfy anyone who has a sweet tooth.

SummerApril 26, 2013Cozy and homely place. After listening/reading the raves, the rootbeer cake wasn't as fantastic as i expected. The waffle, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic! 
zappyzacDecember 22, 2015Great waffles! However the service was slow. The people who came and ordered after us got theirs earlier than we did. The toilet had faulty faucets and the water was trickling right after I flushed.

good place to chill out, although it can get noisy when crowded due to the layout of te cafe. hot chocolate was pure chocolately goodness, and the waffle was light and fluffy.

Be prepared to queue but they serve really good waffles, root beer cake and Eton mess!

KOctober 28, 2014Used to be a hip and tucked away café... Now it's just a perpetually packed café with mostly teens, still tucked away but noisy now.
