Spicy falafel is so yummy and fresh. Plus they stuff the sandwiches with this (pickled?) red cabbage that is sooo much better than the lettuce and cucumber other places use.

Great place for lunch! To me, the best falafel in town and perfect location near The Barclay Center! Cost effective prices and they even serve beer:) Enjoy

Eggplant: Incredibly, deliciously, oily—a garlicky, acidic marinade that adds flavor to everything it touches, seeping into the eggplant, bleeding into the hummus, further dressing the Israeli salad. Read more

At this excellent, small falafel joint, the falafel balls (classic, spicy, or with spinach and mushrooms) are fried to order and everything is made fresh daily. Read more

Loved their Gilly falafel. It was a mushroom-spinach falafel with hummus, red cabbage, eggplant & tahini.

Tried the chicken shawarma, which was filling and fortified with curry. It's not the best in the world. Came for lunch, unfortunately had a long wait, but I'll give them another chance.

Great spot to grab a bite to eat. The spicy falafel pita pocket with seasoned fries and a drink is my go-to.

Recommended dishes: Gilly falafel, Mediterranean chicken falafel, eggplant à la Yafa. The falafel at this modest and mostly takeout shop is crisp yet moist, airy yet creamy. Read more

The falafel is amazing! Make to ask for both pickles and pickled cabbage on your sandwich. The desserts are also yummy!

Really good falafel on the same level as Taim. Ask them to really stuff your pita. The portions could be more generous.

Fig, pear, plum smoothie is made with coconut .. Great combination! Gilly falafel was dry..too much red cabbage made it bitter.

Sadly this place has gone downhill. Used to be my favorite in Brooklyn for the sandwiches but I've now gone twice and been disappointed at the food quality. Salty, badly constructed, not delicious
