Make sure you buy the right ticket (weekdays vs weekend) and make sure you're going the right direction. Ask! Better yet, get the Waterways app to save time and enjoy the view.

Construction at landing can make going tough . City has been paving and digging and at times leaving no place for pedestrians to walk.

There's a max of 25 kids per ferry, so it's possible for families to be turned away if it's busy.
