Your gate to Machu Picchu. There are many shops outside the station that obscured the way to it and there is no sign to direct people.

Been here 5+ times
Take at least 3 Pisco shots at the local bar before boarding the train. It will make the whole Machu Picchu trip memorable!

The station is above the train line that crosses the river. Go through the market to find it.

To expensive and not all the way from Cusco-Aguascalientes. They make you take a bus to another train station and then you ride the train.

Tomamos el tren desde oyantaytambo y el recorrido es genial, muy bonito, deben pedir los asientos que dan hacia el lado del río, es la mejor vista. El servicio fue muy bueno y la atención excelente

El viaje en tren a Aguas Calientes junto al rio y atravesando montañas es espectacular. En el viaje de vuelta a Ollantaytambo suelen hacer desfiles de prendas de alpaca y de una danza típica local : )

La atención es excelente. Creo que merecen propina las chicas que te avisan de atracciones en el camino. Me encanta que tiene ventanas en él te vi! Ojalá en la noche apagaran la luz para ver las stars

帰りはともかく、行きはシャトルバスを使って上まで目指すが吉。普通の登山と違い、空気が薄くて登りきったときに頭の中が飽和状態になる。何より時間の無駄。シャトルバスチケットは旅券が印字されるタイプで途中で疲れたから乗せてってが不可能。カードだとドルかソルかを聞かれる。ATMは現時点でここにある。

Cuidado con los catalanes en el tren. Un catalán de 250 libras pisando los pies de una mujer de 100 libras mientras que su esposa dice que no hay problema. Mira, controla a tu maleducado marido.

No es posible que en ventanilla te digan que ya no hay tickets para el tren local, sin embargo si haces cola en la puerta cinco horas antes de la salida del tren te vendan tickets...criollada total!

マチュピチュ遺跡観光の起点の村。ちょっとぬるめですが温泉があります。現在の名前はマチュピチュ村、以前はアグアスカリエンテスといわれ村の名前はスペイン語で“熱いお湯”という意味です。

Es mejor comprar el boleto de retorno en Cuzco por que en época alta es casi imposible conseguir asciento, y Aguas calientes es un pueblito turístico y caro.
