- Leigha SJanuary 20, 2014Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Thursday night in the lobby lounge is THE place to be with live music and amazing vodka martinis. And a wicked fireplace!
- Joanna SableJanuary 21, 2016One of the most luxurious and elegant Teas in Toronto. A large tea selection with knowledgable staff, lovely sandwiches and divine pastries. The scones are good but could be improved upon.
- RaquelOctober 20, 2012Went there on a Friday evening to have drinks at the bar and hang out in the lobby/lounge area. There was a three piece band that were incredible and played great music. Definitely would return.
- Al Shaima Al MadaniMay 21, 2018Must visit and sit there in the lobby for coffee and enjoy the piano playing
- The whole place is scent controlled. Momofuku in the attached building is pretty fun. The 5th floor gym has a steam room.
- Siren CommunicationsApril 11, 2014Fit for any travelling executive, try the one-bedroom deluxe suites for a truly luxurious stay in Ontario's capital. Read more
- Ryan WhitingJune 18, 2014Had lunch one day at the hotel's signature restaurant, 'Boska.' A surprisingly good burger! I was taken aback—haven't known hotels to do good burgers.
- MAV VJuly 1, 2015Best service ever, catering to all your needs. Great drinks and bartenders make everyone feel welcome. Cheese plate is a must.
- Amazing event spaces. What other ballroom has a patio. I was at 2 events at the museum room an loved the windows and chandeliers
- TIFFAugust 28, 2013Just three blocks from TIFF Bell Lightbox, the hotel is a landmark destination within the entertainment district, featuring 202 rooms, including 49 suites and five specialty suites.
- We stayed in the hotel for 12 days in a row as a Golden Circle member. When we asked for the late checkout they asked for half of the room price to extend beyond 2 pm. They see you as walking dollars!
- Angie ChangNovember 25, 2018The 10th floor has a ghost. We were in two different rooms on the 10tth floor where the blinds and shades drew themselves down at odd times.
- charlotteDecember 29, 2013Nice afternoon tea with pianist playing Xmas music. Leave enough room for excellent scones. But freezing cold whenever someone walked through door.
- Judi RNovember 1, 2015Wonderful hotel to stay in however let down by its dismal breakfasts and poor resident policy for high teas.
- John CampbellNovember 19, 2014Its nice. If you are meeting someone in the lobby area and they arrive before you come downstairs, if they sit on any couches they will be approached to buy something. (Bit tacky) Decor is average.
- Great service. No black tea bags in my room so I call up and they bring me a pot of hot black tea.
- A fabulous hotel. Stay here rather than trying to maximize your hotel points at some other generic hotel chains.
- In addition to the room charge they block your credit card for each day of your stay by 200 CAD. They can not even trust a Shangri La member till the end of their stay
- Room 610 has a fantastic balcony which is lovely in the evening sun.
- Alana HurovApril 9, 2013Try out yoga. Boot Camp and spin classes! Beautiful and soothing oasis in the city.
- Reception is very problematic. When you share a problem, they do not listen but keep on repeating what already said. Pretending to be polite ...
- TIFFSeptember 3, 2012The site of our first Shangri-La Hotel Toronto Asian Film Summit that will take place on Monday, September 10 during #TIFF12.
- Suga JamFebruary 28, 2013Walk inside the lobby rather than outside on the street. Less chance of you being hit by falling glass.
- MitchFebruary 9, 2013Overpriced bar. Cold ambience. No snacks with your drinks. Ripoff. Definitely not the same as their New York City's hotel.
