Alex DobyanOctober 7, 2017The most Pennsylvania place you can go in the Bay, especially on a Sunday in the fall. Pierogies were properly fried in butter with onions, and that's something to be damn proud of in this city.
Absolute favorite, hands-down, no contest, sports bar in the city. Have been so fortunate to watch so many championships be won here :) Great beer list, and Pittsburgh-style sandwiches.
WhiskeyAvengerJune 13, 2018Fantastic Primanti style sandwiches plus their wings are great. As an added bonus they have a solid craft beer list.
Sandwiches are good, as are fried pickles, but the real highlight is the buffalo wings, which are easily the best in San Francisco.

Watch the sports events here and get the sandwiches. Attracts Pittsburgh crowd. They show hockey which is a big plus in my book. Bartenders are friendly.

Great atmosphere. As someone who is from Pittsburgh, it’s comforting seeing all the familiar foods and sports fans.- Even though it's a Pittsburgh sports bar, it's a great place to watch any hockey game, with sound if you're lucky

They play all the Penguins hockey games, and other hockey games when Pittsburgh and local sports aren't taking up all the tvs

The food here is greasy (and great)! That being said, don't come late if you want to eat -- they often close the kitchen early.
Great happy hour. Fantastic sandwiches. Some of the nicest bartenders around.

For those from the east coast, they serve Yuengling if you ask for it!
Get pickles on the side to combat the richness of the sandwich (kielbasa and roast beef are yum... Not so much cappiola)
SarahDecember 20, 2015Pretty good bar food, especially the fried pickles. The pierogis taste like they were reheated from being frozen.
