- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍July 26, 2016The GCT clock has four convex faces, each is made purely of the highest quality precious opal. Behind the faces are lights which give the clock a warm glow and illuminate each of the faces

- It's not the "meet me under the clock" clock at Grand Central (that's the Biltmore) but it is a fantastic vantage point for holiday ceiling!
- Each of the four clock faces is made from opalescent glass. Reports that they are made from opal and auction house estimates of value at $10-20M are considered an urban legend.
- It's a tradition to always check into the clock when I travel to NYC
- Every clock at GCT is set by an atomic clock at a naval observatory in Maryland, which makes the accurate to within one second every 1.4 million years.
- The GCT Centennial logo is set to 7:13pm, which in military time (1913) represents the year NYC's Gilded Age marvel opened.
- "Lift your eyes up from the moving hive and you will see time circling under a vault of stars and know just when and where you are". Billy Collins
- Gorgeous, and a great place to meet up with people in Grand Central.
- The top of the clock is an acorn; the Vanderbilt family symbol "From the acorn grows the mighty oak."
- Regino TrevinoApril 18, 2016Está en remodelación y hay muchos trabajadores y andamos, pero vale totalmente la pena ir a verla y tomarse una foto.
