'Meet me under the clock'! NYC's most famous clock and a historical structure that has starred in several movies throughout Hollywood history. The GCT clock is valued between 10 - 20 million dollars

The GCT clock has four convex faces, each is made purely of the highest quality precious opal. Behind the faces are lights which give the clock a warm glow and illuminate each of the faces

It's not the "meet me under the clock" clock at Grand Central (that's the Biltmore) but it is a fantastic vantage point for holiday ceiling!

Each of the four clock faces is made from opalescent glass. Reports that they are made from opal and auction house estimates of value at $10-20M are considered an urban legend.

Every clock at GCT is set by an atomic clock at a naval observatory in Maryland, which makes the accurate to within one second every 1.4 million years.

The GCT Centennial logo is set to 7:13pm, which in military time (1913) represents the year NYC's Gilded Age marvel opened.

The top of the clock is an acorn; the Vanderbilt family symbol "From the acorn grows the mighty oak."
