Here on Tuesday to Friday they do happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm, and the deal is $3 draft beers, and $5 cocktails, which means their delicious concoctions are half price. Get there early for a seat. Read more

This cocktail bar is just so good for so many different reasons. Come to eat or drink — with friends or solo — for brunch, bar bites, or a full dinner. Read all about it on WinstonWanders.com

Lovely little spot where you can usually get a seat and good service even when it looks crowded. Great cocktails, wine and snacks. I love a bar with good snack options.

With an unfussy cocktail list and wines by the carafe, the cozy space feels as though it was dreamed up as the perfect spot to have a few drinks over simple plates of food that stuck in your teeth. Read more

The specialty cocktails are very tasty. You really can't go wrong, I like the whiskey and bourbon ones myself. The books make for nice decor, not sure if anyone actually reads them though.

Sidle up to a stool, get yourself an artisan cocktail (they particularly know their way around whiskey and gin), borrow a book from their shelves, and watch the hours dissolve.

Come here for a boozy reading experience. These sisters've got 4 beers on tap, wine by the glass, and excellent under-$10 housemade jerky (marinated in an apple cider/pineapple juice brine). Read more

There are not enough great things to say about this pace. I recently discovered they have a happy hour and occasionally teach classes on Mondays (usually closed Mondays).

This tiny Hayes Valley haven brings a feminine touch to the classic
via its worshipped Chamomile Old Fashioned, where dry chamomile
flowers are infused in Old Forester 86 Bourbon.

Ask for the Dark Knight. It's not on the menu anymore, but it's crazy-delicious: gin, Aperol, Campari, and some housemade cherry-balsamic vermouth magic.

This place has the best drinks and the best staff. Kat makes the most amazing drinkings - I recommend her Yerba Buena 75 or ask for a Last Word. Amazing! Alex in the kitchen makes some great food.

Fantastic cocktails, but small plates, so be careful. The Corpus Christi packs a surprising citrus punch.

I dig it! Small space and great/cheap happy hour specials. Try their daily cocktail. It gets loud/busy after 7:30pm though.

They do brunch now. Or did they always? Either way, small menu, but the blue cheese & mushroom scramble was good. Super quaint place.
