- Miles ThurstonDecember 30, 2016Lovely coffee shop in the middle of Brighton. Coffee was awesome too as were the staff. Local brand too. I must buy one of their cups next time I visit, which I will now I have found it thx to my son
- James BelloriniJune 10, 2016Lovely atmosphere, lovely people - generic 'artisan' coffee (that overly burnt flavour) though, so if you like your coffee to have character or distinction then Small Batch probably isn't for you.
- Lina L.June 15, 2013If you want to try the syphon coffee, be sure to head in before 4pm. The cafe stops serving syphon coffee after 4pm, which I missed, unfortunately. Still, great coffee and love the vibes here!
- Adrian & CynthiaMay 14, 2017they know what they are doing - a great pleasant surprise at a main railway station! very well roasted beans and great coffee. Recommended
- Kostas KoukoravasDecember 24, 2015The house espresso blend is out of this world...seriously one of the best roasts I've ever tried. Works well in milk and as espresso and bursts with fruit aromas. Great job folks!
- AlexJuly 19, 2016Friendly service, sleek interior. Superb coffee and tea. Air conditioning is very welcome in 32c weather like today
- Peter LindbergJuly 27, 2016Had a cappuccino on their Goldstone blend. Rich and chocolatey, which I like. Bad acoustics, so quite noisy. Friendly service. Roasts and sells beans.
- Felipe PaschoalDecember 5, 2015Nice place to have a coffee and some snacks. Great coffee shop in a wonderful street.
- Nik JenkinsSeptember 26, 2019Good coffee and nice atmosphere, + lots of seating. Very friendly staff. Great place to chill and watch the world go by
- Jeff MelnykFebruary 3, 2015As with all Small Batch locations - excellent coffee. This one lacks a bit of the funk of their other spots. But definitely a destination for your java fix.
- Sabine DerksenDecember 5, 2015When I am in Brighton, I always go here! The coffee is great and the place is home to the hipsters of Brighton.
- Anthony RymanMay 28, 2016Had a very nice cappuccino. Certainly lived up to its name. Excellent coffee. High chairs a bit so-so but really nice vibe.
- Lewis S.July 12, 2016Great filter coffee. I went to the best rated places on 4sq in Brighton and this was my favourite.
- Mat ASeptember 2, 2014Offer a variety of brewing methods including pour over, clever dripper and cold brew during the summer
- Matt HallJanuary 23, 2016Great coffee and flat white. Bonsoy used for soy, unfortunately not steamed well (separated when steamed..)
- Jack GillettSeptember 2, 2014The pour over takes a bit of time but the Kenyan beans they use are worth the wait. Delicious coffee.
- Gregory CApril 1, 2013Love the syphon bar. Really nice and enthusiastic service as well even though they were busy on a Bank Holiday Monday.
- Jamie ShawMarch 25, 2016Great coffee; great atmosphere. Shame they don't do chai tea... really fancied a dirty chai. Take card but charge for anything under than £5 – don't expect Apple Pay here.
- Best coffee in Brighton, hands down. Staff are rad and the music is always spot on. Support local coffee shops.
- Artur TaurusNovember 17, 2012The Vegetarian sandwich is really good and you can eat healthy breakfast too. After 10am try drew bar.
- In the summer, the beans for the cold brew coffee are rotated. They’re all delicious.
- The bad news is that there's so many cakes that deciding what to have is tricky. The good news is that they're all delicious.
- John SeedhouseAugust 11, 2013No cheeky power points for smart phone charges but cool funky and clean loos. Good coffee - they know what they are doing - not burning the beans.
- Sandeep DeepakMay 8, 2015Espresso is the best in town but make sure to have the cappuccino, its silky texture hits the spot.
- For soy based drinks they use bonsoy instead of that awful Alpro stuff, so even if you're vegan you can enjoy a tasty coffee 😃
- Ben NuttallJanuary 4, 2012Some of the best coffee I've ever had, try a syphon, its gorgeous! Also the Fennel sausage roll's are Devine!
- DaniJanuary 6, 2017Good coffee. Decent selection of snacks/cake type food. But always come for the coffee
- Jose CruzOctober 30, 2013Not the cheapest place but you will definitely have a good coffee or tea in a cool environment
- evrmFebruary 11, 2014Where' wifi ?? If you want only coffee ! Yes, u r correct shop ! Is the best !! 👏

- Maxwell HouseSeptember 15, 2018Decent coffee shop in Brighton. The coffee is good if a little pricey.
- Michael McCallamSeptember 8, 2016interesting interior, friendly staff. Coffee good. No messing about with supersize grande - 1 size only
