- Stephanie DownesAugust 12, 2015Chef Angie will always impress! Grab a table in the safari room for cozy fireplace vibes or awesome natural light. The 45 day dry aged burger will rock your world, add truffle fries. Game over.
- Leigh FerreiraNovember 16, 2012have benny make u a drink @ the bar. margarita & negroni were gr8. get the farro 4 dinner & the creme brule 4 dessert. yum! sit @ the table by the fireplace. luv!
- Matthew FergusonJanuary 8, 2017What an incredible experience. The smoked Manhattan was outstanding. The 60 day aged rib eye steak was the best I've ever had. The cherry tart appetizer for two was unique and delicious!
- You better hope you get Keith as a bartender. Best dinner spot is at the bar with the steak tartare. Made with a smoked quail egg!
- Zach HamedFebruary 15, 2016Roasted chicken, sea bass, kale salad, smoky Manhattan all amazing. As romantic a date spot as you'll find in the West Village. Ask to sit by the fireplace in the large dining room.
- MayaNovember 19, 2016Delicious - and the huge portions make the prices much more reasonable than they appear on the menu. Put your name in for one of the 3 walk-in tables up front, and have a cocktail while you wait.
- Ha-ti NguyenJanuary 19, 2018chicken liver mousse, veal carpaccio, milk braised pork shoulder & 60-day cote de boeuf. finish with bone marrow creme brûlée 🙏🏽🙏🏽 best meal i’ve had in a while.
- Pam R.November 11, 2016Great craft cocktails at the bar so arrive early to enjoy a pre-meal drink. Try to snag a table in the back room w/fireplace, very old NYC. Burger is good, but seasonal sides are fantastic.
- Emily K.June 21, 2016Burger + bone marrow creme brulee are a must. Make sure to also try the Animal Burger, only available at the bar (inspired by In-N-Out).
- Sam PezzulloDecember 8, 2013A wonderful dining experience. The specialty cocktails are great, my favorite is the Lea Christine. Definitely order the burrata on toast as an appetizer, it's unbelievable.
- Claudio EspinalMarch 20, 2017Everything we had was outstanding but the star of the show was the Roast Duck Flambé. Milk braised pork shoulder and yellowtail were also exceptional. Need to revisit for the burger, pies and fries!
- Adrian PhillipsApril 21, 2018Get there early, sit at the bar (1st come, 1st serve) and order a Cristal Negroni or a Cherrywood Smoked Manhattan for some powerful boozy beverages. You won’t be disappointed with the burger here.
- Stan HaysJune 13, 2015Fantastic food! The wait staff and staff are amazing. The menu is also fantastic! The executive chef Angie Mar came out to talk to us and spent the time asking about our dinner. Great place!
- Ask to be seated in the back room with the fireplace. the pork was amazing, the truffle fries (yum) and the bone marrow creme brulee is not to be missed.
- This is my favorite restaurant in New York. Duck and meat pie. Get ready to indulge.
- Roniel TesslerNovember 9, 2016The ambiance is perfect. The food offerings are plentiful, but don't taste exciting as other restaurants. Here's what you should order: yellowtail, squash, and creme brulee ✔
- Renaud #April 19, 2020Being quarantined sucks. Getting yummy take-out from The Bea, including their delicious friend chicken 🍗, makes it a bit more civilized. Merci Angie & team.
- Ana PavDecember 18, 2014Chicken liver pate. Oh my goodness. Oysters were awesome (west coast was better). Sea bass melts in your mouth and side of truffle fries are a must!
- Elliot WehnerJuly 26, 2015Interesting cocktails on their list - but will make you anything. Well done classics. Entry room is a bar that attracts a crowd. Fries smell so good but haven't tried (yet)
- Trae FMarch 5, 2017The food here is stellar. We ordered a bottle of wine based on the sommeliers recommendation of "it's like really good" and he was right! Lol
- Brian WilliamsonOctober 11, 2015Dinner was great, cocktails were great. My only critique is the ceiling height: not made for anyone above 6'6".
- Kirsten MarchioliOctober 10, 2013Beautiful setting. Great wines and some of the best side dishes I've ever had. Get the Brussel sprouts and broccolini!
- steve tallisMay 17, 2014Amazing food!!! beautiful restaurant with a great crowd....they need to open up for brunch
- Rasmus OttoNovember 25, 2015Very, very tasty food. Large servings. The fireplace makes it a sauna though.
- Lauren AtkinsSeptember 14, 2018Good atmosphere and high quality food but for me the options were all too much on the heavier side and quite pricey.
- ArtJonakMarch 20, 2013Cramped & ridiculously exclusive. Celebrity or four beautiful girls on your arm gets you in. Small dance floor upstairs; downstairs is a bar. If you manage to get in be sure to tell everyone you went.
