- Foursquare InsidersOctober 7, 2015"Ribalta offers a modern take on Neapolitan specialties, like the Americana pizza with hotdogs & fries. They also happen to make a great Kale Salad." - Alexa Mehraban, @EatingNYC Read more
- HeidiApril 15, 2017Pizza dough is fresh and crust is perfect. The pizza is pounded too thin, toppings and cheese slid right off (below). Big place and for authenticity Italians come here to eat and watch football.
- Serious EatsSeptember 17, 2013To get the most out of this Neapolitan-inspired pizza, stick to simple pies that show off the fantastic crust and cheese they're using.
- Kimmie OhhJune 30, 2020They serve Naples-style pizza. They also have gluten-free pizza here. Ribalta tends to get crowded & loud. Order the ciliegino (cherry tomatoes, basil & mozzarella topped with buffalo mozzarella)
- Christina Chin6 days agoWent for dinner, truffle pasta was good, got 2 pies and salad to share with 2 other women and a it was perfect amount. Ambiance nice and got crowded on sunday after 7p
- Great service, food is very good plus it comes out quickly after you order, venue is large enough to accompany big parties. Both times I've been it has never been overly crowded. A new Italian go-to!
- AmateurConciergeJune 20, 2015This casual Italian spot isn't exactly a hole in the wall. The pizza is decent and tho the spaghetti pomodoro may not be the best in the city, as nymag claims, it is quite good and perfectly al dente
- Pricilla WangApril 16, 2014four different kinds of ovens. the Pizza in Pala, which's a special way of twice-baking it so that the crust comes up with that perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The Napoletana's great too,
- letajanelleJune 5, 2016This place is on point! Great variety of pizzas - they are soooo good! Nice app selection and check out my delicious dessert pic!
- Malcolm RingOctober 12, 2016Ribalta has always felt more Neapolitan than New York, with its European clientele, its raucous soccer broadcasts, and especially its pizza margherita, which tastes as classic as can be
- Spicy salami pizza has some kick. Baked to the edge of burn for a great tasting char on the crust
- DarynaJune 17, 2015This place is so so good!! Italian waiter is a lot of fun! Pizza and especially octopus carpaccio were so yummy
- Christina ChinApril 20, 2019Cute spot for like date night. Tried in pala type pizza, was delicious, would come back to try other pizzas
- Very good upscale pizza in very modern setting with excellent service. Tried the thin crust, which was good but will be back to try the other thicker crust varietals. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Jörgen FMarch 22, 2016One of the best pizza I've ever had. I really can recommend this place to have a pizza. Nice environment and friendly staff.
- Sam McCrimsonMarch 31, 2015This place is legit. The DOC pizza was amaaazing. And the mascarpone with strawberries dessert was HEAVEN. Plus, everyone there is able to speak Italian.👌
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantNovember 24, 2014Great pizzas esp loved the truffle oil ones. Strange space and vibe but pizza is spot on.
- Nice chewy crusts and good base ingredients. I've found their meats to be good, but not amazing. I'd choose Rossopomodoro or Motorino first, but Ribalta is defintely worth it if you're in the area.
- David TrudoJuly 18, 2015Really tasty pizza, other menu options also delicious. Quirky cocktails, but they can be good (the 8 1/2 was adventurous). Really friendly staff!
- KarinaSeptember 25, 2012Really great service, yummy pizza with $5 wine pairings for happy hour, free wine on wednesdays for ladies & student discount ...what more can you ask for?! :)
- Mychael LourençoJuly 1, 2017This was the best pizza I've eaten in my life. Thin dough, delicious sauce and toppings. Looks like an authentic Italian place.
- Alice QFebruary 13, 2015The pomodoro pasta has the most ridiculous description but it's so good. So so good. The pizzas are great too.

- Marino BoccuzziDecember 12, 2021Best pizza o had in nyc super thin sliced fluffy crust highly recommend!!!
- Silene LimSeptember 27, 2018Decent but not spectacular pizza you can otherwise get in Manhattan. We had the veal meatballs, spinach salad and three different pizzas. Don’t bother - pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe.
- OlinApril 21, 2018Zuchine pizza is to die for!! Don’t miss it!! I loved the food overall in this place!
- Jessi DexApril 5, 2015Eh. Went for the pizza which was a soggy, collapsing mess with canned mushrooms (yuck!) but delicious burrata appetizer & inventive drinks made up for it
- Martina FDecember 29, 2013Real Buffalo Mozzarella and Sammarzano tomatoes: one of the best italian pizza. And very nice staff!
- KarimaFebruary 28, 2016We ordered about 6 pizzas...they were all great. I don't really think you can go wrong w any of their pizzas.
- Nicholas CapanoDecember 5, 2016best roasted octopus ever. order it with extra dressing and dont look look back!
- Jessica TAugust 7, 2014Great union square, casual pizza spot. The Margherita pizza, although plain, is a winner.
- Very solid pizza. They do it right here. I highly recommend it.
- Marianna D.April 26, 2014The closest you could get to authentic 'pizza del Sabato sera' outside of Italy.
- Lincy JohnDecember 19, 2013They have really good 4 cheese pizza. The arugala salad is also delicious
- Megan KDecember 8, 2012Love the pala pizzas with the sausage or the mozarella. And comp dessert shots at the end!
- Mike DizonOctober 21, 2014Has to be one of best pizza places in the city. Totally undiscovered, weird location for a place of this caliber.
- Felicia GordonSeptember 16, 2013Service was great! Pizzas was delicious. Gnocchi dish was delicious!!
