- Eloise EatonOctober 29, 2017Genuine neighbourhood gem. Excellent service, friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive. High quality ingredients used in an imaginative way. The octopus followed by scallops & pork belly were amazing. 10/10
- EaterOctober 7, 2013Excellent service and decent price points make this a genuine neighbourhood favourite. Booking is essential for the Boozy Brunch sessions (last Sunday of the month). [Eater 38 Member]
- Natalie CheungMarch 13, 2015Genuine neighbourhood gem. Local food source, reduce carbon footsteps, support local buys! The triple fried potato wedges are finger licking delicious! Read more
- AmyJune 2, 2016Didn't have the best brunch experience so I would do lunch or dinner. Everything in the ploughman's lunch platter was delicious. And for dinner, always choose the gnocchi. Amazing.
- Practically impossible to not order the Pulled Pork Johnny Cakes. Brunch is a small but strong menu. Steak frites and duck meatball spaghetti are super solid. All fresh and local.
- Great brunch spot everything is good here but definitely try the Halibut Benny. Look out for "BoozyBrunch" which happens every last Sunday of the month were alcohol beverage are discounted.
- CodyDecember 22, 2014Duck dish was a bit sweet and pasta special a bit salty, but overall still tasty. Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta was fantastic and quite light. Great finish to the meal!
- DeborahJuly 19, 2012The canned tuna and the spaghetti with duck meatball were my favourites. Also the duck entree was delicious. My only concern with this restaurant was that the portions were on the small side.
- Tiago FerreiraMay 9, 2016An incredible brunch with the best service I've experienced in the city. They have awesome vegetarian options.
- April DennSeptember 4, 2017French toast is to die for. Omelet and steak and eggs come with salad and rustic bread and both were amazing!!
- Mitchell CoeneJune 13, 2013Mind blowing gnocchi with bacon, and steak and frites. They also have amazing rhubarb macaroons, although I'm not sure if they're actually on the menu.
- Kathy SchleyerFebruary 5, 2022At all week brunch- classics are scrambled eggs in a jar & pulled pork johnny cakes. Dinner is where magic happens.
- Excellent restaurant. Chef Trevor Bird is rocking it in Kits and his service team is on their game. Check out their weekend brunch.
- David DruckerFebruary 9, 2016Lovely, rich but not overly flashy brunch. The potato rösti are soo crisp and creamy. Even the coffee is 1st rate.
- Beatriz González MirandaFebruary 10, 2019Olive oil hollandaise of the eggs benny is delicious! Everything is delicious!
- Andrew WeeSeptember 3, 2015Tuna and watermelon salad is fantastic especially in the summer! Burst of flavour in every mouthful
- Charles HudsonJanuary 12, 2014Get the bacon at brunch. It's house butchered and house smoked. Amazing.
- Celine T.August 17, 2021Fable Diner appeared in Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives season 29, episode 17: Belly, Beef and Bratwurst
- RaffyJuly 22, 2012For brunch, try the Fable egg and in-house smoked salmon eggs benny: they're winners.
- Great food doing a pulled pork bun and maple bacon ice cream sandwich for Khatshalano Day
- J KNovember 20, 2012Don't expect too much for sides with your sandwich during lunch hour...you get about 4 chips. :p
- TylerAugust 31, 2014Thought I'd hate it as much as I hate Top Chef Canada but no! It was quite good. They seemed to be out of a lot of stuff and my cocktail was disappointing.
- Jan HeuninckSeptember 14, 2012Pulled duck sandwich tasted good, but the portion was too small for me
