Beats the palace and museums in keraton easily. Go here instead of sweating in the heat and listening to batik sellers in the centre. Good artist with an interesting life.

Ended up here more by accident with no knowledge about Affandi whatsoever. Must say I really enjoyed his work and hearing about his lifestyle. Pretty rock n roll dude! ;)

It was nice experience for me. Actually I didn't know who he is before just drop by in my own way. I was interested in his excellent painting skill and colors. I recommend that place to go.

Affandi museum is all part of Affandi's life as a painting maestro. At the bank of Gajah Wong River - Affandi used to live, work and transform his knowledge and now he lives in his eternal home there.

Rumah, museum, kafe, tempat kursus lukis sekaligus makam dari Affandi & Istri. Tiket Rp50k, kalau mau foto per grup kena tambahan Rp20k.

lokasinya di tengah kota Jogja.. cukup strategis apalagi sekarang ada kantinnya.. enak buat ngadem mana posisinya di pinggir sungai.. termasuk salah satu anggota Barahmus (Badan Musyawarah Musea)..
