- Alexander KingFebruary 14, 2017The sushi is incredible... definitely a different quality level here than most places in SF. The chef sent out some cuts of fish on the house, and the service was excellent.
- Adam FAugust 18, 2014Old school fit out with a new school sushi taste. Try any of the rolls on the specials menu. The Spicy Tuna was just that little bit special. Service is perfect and music is great too!
- Maja PetkovicAugust 31, 2014We had seared blue fin toro, miso black cod and hamachi kama..everything was delicious!! This is unpretencious and pleasant place with incredibly tasty and beautifully served food.
- Bill CouchNovember 29, 2012For the Mission, this place is delicious and completely unpretentious. The spicy pork ramen tasted cleaner and more flavorful than Katana-Ya. Definitely holds its own among SF ramen shops.
- JustinNovember 4, 2016Absolutely phenomenal sushi. Some of the most original arrangements I've ever had yet they still let you taste the fish and aren't dropping in sauces or deep fried ameri-sushi.
- Ty SmithJune 18, 2016Had a great Omakase Sashimi experience with many complimentary extras from the chef. The squid was perfect. The beluga sturgeon caviar with coffee mochi was a great after dinner bite.
- Maybe the best sushi cut of all time: The bin toro. Also the staff is really nice and always treats me with the respect that I, a king among lesser men, deserves. But they do play some bad music.
- Ross PattersonMay 24, 2013Simply put, best fish I've had in my life. Have redeemed fishes that I didn't like at my favorite sushi places in the past. Give great recommendations. Please make sure these people succeed.
- Easily the best sushi in the mission. As good as Ichi and sushi zone, but much easier to get into.
- Louis LecatOctober 3, 2013Great great great sushi, quiet and relaxed place. A place that can make tasty Alaskan rolls is a place where they know what they're doing
- They do a strange mix -- great authentic sushi, but also deep-fried American-style rolls. Get the server's advice to find whichever of those is your preference :-)
- Bobbie McLellanApril 20, 2018We only got the various rolls that were all decent. Good value and just avoid the fried roll.
- Andy McLoughlinFebruary 27, 2013This place is great. Friendly, inexpensive, and the fish is delicious. I'll be coming back soon. Oh, and if they have it, get the bin toro.
- TrucyMay 22, 2017Hamachi kama is tender and melt in your mouth. 😋 Also: delicious albacore sashimi and overall excellent service.
- Anjali OttingerJanuary 4, 2014Sushi Chef was great and informative. Fish was fresh, but have been to some better sushi places in SF. I would return though bc it was good.
- Jana KiewittMay 11, 2015The Cherry bomb was so delicious. Beautiful place, fresh and tastfully sushi.
- Must order: bin toro, ikura, trout, ramen, seared toro, albacore tataki. Chanel and the staff are awesome!
- Casey KayApril 30, 2013Fresh fish is amazing! Roll this is not that kind of place but Alec knew what to serve us & we'll be back to see him soon!
- Doron KatzJune 15, 2015Awesome vibe and excellent service. We even got two dishes on the house, including desert.
- Natasha WAugust 12, 2013Amazingly fresh fish. Rolls that are creative, but not overly done that the fish is hidden. Friendly staff.
- Kian LaviSeptember 9, 2015One of my favorite sushi restaurants in SF for the price. Anything here is delicious
- james bromleyAugust 4, 2014Great tuna, super fresh salmon, top 5 on my sushi eateries list. Try the tuna with carmslised onion.
- Chloe CondonJune 24, 2016This place is FANTASTIC. So many dishes compliments of the chef. New favorite spot in the Mission for sushi!
- Kevin LawJanuary 31, 2014The ramen is really good (despite being hidden at the bottom of the small plates section).
- they give you a sweet little surprise at the end of the meal, so leave room!
- The ramen is fantastic! Best pork I've had in ramen in SF
- David Cox-EspenlaubFebruary 9, 2016Even after moving, the menu stayed pretty much the same, which is a good thing.
- Samantha SprangerApril 28, 2015Best agedashi tofu I've ever had the pleasure of stuffing in my face!
- Keith SmileyApril 10, 2016Sushi was alright. I wasn't a fan of the dark sauce they topped many rolls with.
- ૮( ⚈້͡ ໋͈ ૈ ꈊ ⚈້͡ ໋͈ ૈ)ა .April 23, 2014Sugoi Sushi - more like heibon sushi. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I couldn't finish my meal because it left me feeling odd after a couple bites. Service is good but it's just average.
