Amazing. Best to come with a group so you can sample as much as possible. Fried anchovies from Bon Chovie CANNOT BE MISSED. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the other endless choices
If you can stand the crowds of hangry people this place has a great vibe. Egg pancake from Outer Borough was delish. Arrive early if you're determined to have something in particular, food sells out!
Fried anchovies from Bon Chovie cannot be missed. Great waterfront locale at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Come with cash and many friends so you can taste as much as possible.
Must try LUMPIA SHACK. Everything is amazing and made with fresh ingredients, so get the Sampler for $9 for a little taste of everything. Finish off with a cold halo-halo
We much prefer this location to the one in Williamsburg - better variety of options and amazing views! Make sure you come very hungry so you can try a little of everything.
Vegan banh mi from The Regal Vegan with their walnut lentil faux gras is amazing. The samosas from Dosa Royale are also delicious and filling. Try their restaurant of the same name in Cobble Hill.
You must visit The Bolivian Llama Party and get the The Bolivian street style Sandwith de CHOLA with Triple Pork. A 10 ingredient sandwich that you will be back soon to get again.
Stop by and check out the eats from close to 50 food vendors. They have a wide variety of food options to choose from and you can take the food and find a shady spot in the park to relax and eat
Enjoy the view, enjoy some snacks - ATM machines by the entrance. So many great options to choose from but be sure to end your trip with DOUGHnuts which are huge and delicious.
Amazing place to eat on Sundays! A lot of delicious options in the best view of Manhattan. I used to go there every week to discover a different and new plate.
MUST GO on Sun (or to Smorgasburg Williamsburg on Sat). Please try BFC (Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Waffles), and Grilled Cheese (w/ sautéed srooms) from Milk Truck, plus the Brooklyn Bridge view!
Local, extremely overpriced, eats. Nevertheless, beautiful views and it's worth it to splurge a bit on some favorites. Ramen burgers, dairy-less ice creams, and $10 (tiny) arepas.
So much delicious food to try. Don't be seduced by the drinking coconuts, there's not much to drink in one and they're heavy to carry and you'll be wandering around and queuing a lot.
Really good food market. Try the mofongo, sticky rice, ramen burger(long line), truffle fries (long line) for sure. Other stalls look good too. Come on an empty stomach for sure.
On Sun's frm 11-6pm. Nice after trek on Bklyn Bridge for views of water & NYC & foodie shacks! Most are overpriced but worth it..Moonstone & St Simone oysters & Red Hook Lobster Pound's lobsta roll!
Ramen burger, mofongo, and a doughnut from Dough are necessary. The lavender tea from ThirstTea was refreshing. Not impressed with the watermelon and shisho soda from I believe brooklyn soda works.
Lots of dogs, in case you're wondering if you can bring yours it looks like a yes. It's packed though so might be better to leave fido at home depending on your dog.
If it's late in the day and/or slowing down, don't be afraid to ask for half plates for half price. That way you can try more yumminess without filling up.
Woodstock of Eating. Saturdays on the Williamsburg waterfront between North 6th and North 7th St., at the East River; and Sundays on the DUMBO waterfront at the historic Tobacco Warehouse Read more
An offshoot of the Brooklyn Flea, there is also an outpost on the Williamsburg waterfront. Smorgasburg is open Sundays, 11 to 6, from April to November. Read more
if you haven't been, then go, but it's mostly tourists. let's reframe this: many vendors in one place with long lines for overpriced items normally = shopping mall. i still love my asia dog, however.
Smorgasburg is now open Sundays at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 5 from 11am to 6pm, w/ packaged and prepared foods, beverages, and more from purveyors from New York City and across the region
