Finally in the process of being revamped from an asbestos-laden station to something that may be able to handle 80k spectators going to the nearby Twickenham stadium. Until then, be prepared to queue
Originally built in 1848, then rebuilt further eastwards in 1954. Plans to redevelop the station for the 2015 RugbyWorld Cup were delayed, however a brand new station was finally opened in 2020.
On event days at Twickenham Stadium, if you're traveling home northbound, avoid the queues and take the first southbound train. Get off at the next station, then take the next northbound train back up
Make sure you have a ticket already of you're on the rush because the staff here are sooooooooooo slow. It's like they're zombies. Not very helpful I'm afraid.
