There is a renfe card for 10 rides as isn't sold at the red machines, only purple. single rides & round trips are at red machines. purple are also where you get your free Cercanais to Renfe tickets.
- Huge numbers of computers go through between 7am and 10:15am. It helps to know where you are going during these hours.
Upvoted Feb 11 - while not advertised, some trains have plugs you can use to recharge your mobile devices. you do need the plug though.
- it is cheaper to take Cercanais to the airport than it is the metro. o my issue is Cercanais only goes to T4.
- entering from Sol can be like getting slapped in the face by a giant wave of heat. This can suck on a hot summer day.
- the Belros after going through the turnstiles by the platforms closed. sad day.
- platform 2 goes to Nuevos Ministerios and Chamartin. platform 1 goes to Atocha.
