Aburi sushi is the way to go but if you are having sake or Japanese beer, make sure to ask for some fried fish senbe. It is quite a treat and it isn't even on the menu.
- Focus on ordering aburi style sushi dishes which are torched variations of traditional sushi. They are very good at them, and you shouldn't distract yourself away from anything less.

Beril EsenMarch 23, 2016Of all the sushi places I've been to, this is the first place to offer them blowtorched. Get the Aburicious if you want to try each kind. Salmon oshizuchi, Jabistroll & ika were the stars of the show.

Best sushi in Toronto. Excellent service from the chef. Definitely try to find a seat at the sushi bar. The waitstaff are so new and can use more experience.- First time? Great! Get the Sashimi Sampler and Aburicious and split then with a friend. This is the best way to get a sampling of what JaBistro has to offer. Enjoy!
