Tom CoatesJanuary 25, 2019The food is good and tasty, and you can sit down and it’s a bit less hectic than El Toro or Pancho Villa. Its also more expensive than those places, less fun and I’m not sure the food is better.

More Americanized than spots in the mission (read=more expensive) but if you're a lover of all foods Mexican, it's a nice change every now and again.

It's definitely a yuppy burrito place, but the food here is great. Don't get so hung up on authenticity!
The baby burrito is a good solid meal. The meats are super flavorful and not too greasy. Chips could use some work tho.

Looks like fast food from outside but this place is a cut above the usual crappy burrito joint. Salsas & meats are all just a bit better quality. Nice change of pace, unique tastes.
The Plantain Burrito is a revelation. The Fajita Burrito is a close second. Chili Verde Tofu Burrito is also good, but the ingredients were not well distributed throughout the burrito.
One of my favorite burritos in the mission. I love the garlic shrimp and the plantain and black bean burritos :-)

This is the third TLC location. They serve Americanized Mexican food with very high quality ingredients. If you're looking for the classic grease-laden Mission burrito, head elsewhere.

They have big gf tortillas so you can have gluten free burritos! They're delicious.
