- Wilson Favre-DelerueOctober 31, 2016Attended a (great) conference here recently and loved the venue. I shall be back for the jazz soon!
- Audra SmithMay 15, 2014The Bad Plus was fantastic. Super cool venue, clean, not a bad seat in the house.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Sarah LMarch 4, 2013Great acoustics and sight-lines throughout - which makes seats in the second price tier just as good as full-price tickets. Third price tier seats are way up high though.
- Jonathan ZemelApril 5, 2013Performances start on time here. Get there early, you can get a drink at the bar, and bring it right in. Try the Vieux Carre.Upvoted Feb 10
- MegApril 13, 2014Every seat is great & impeccable sound inside the auditorium. Go to the first floor restroom during intermission: no line in the ladies room! Great staff in the cocktail bar.
- Gabriela AbreuOctober 20, 2018I felt in love with this place! Amazing concerts and perfect space. I wish I could go every week!
- Hardly a bad seat in the house, with a good bar attached. Pro tip: there's a bathroom upstairs too.
- Travel + LeisureSeptember 27, 2013The $64 million, 35,000-square-foot SF Jazz Center is America’s first stand-alone space for jazz, with a 700-seat auditorium designed to evoke both a club and concert hall.
- Such a good venue, not one crappy seat in the venue. World class musicians. So close to everything. Can't go wrong.
- Fantastic built-for-Jazz building near City Hall. The acoustics are great and perfect for jazz. Feels more like an amphitheater than a classic concert hall.
- Every seat in the Miner Auditorium is very decent! It's a great venue. Also, the Joe Henderson Lab is small and intimate.
- Rachel RothAugust 11, 2017Great venue, though disappointed that I wound up with such an obstructed view at full price
- takishido nekoSeptember 18, 2014Sound is great in every section, but best right by the sound booth (of course). Be punctual cause the show starts on time!
- Matthias P.February 22, 2020Awesome venue. Only great seats in the house and amazing artists! Loved it!
- Alice KingsnorthOctober 11, 2014Intimate venue, always great artists, cool bar/restaurant. Definitely a perfect place for a first date.
- MarkFebruary 22, 2015One of the finest venues for live jazz in North America. Sightlines and sound quality are impeccable.
- Mark HeyertJune 26, 2015If you are stuck choosing between seats behind the stage or to the side chose the former as the sound is better. Seats aren't that Cindy but who cares?
- Have dinner or a cocktail at South before the show and step into the best jazz venue in San Francisco (or maybe anywhere).
- Josh ZeiserOctober 21, 2013Awesome venue! Great acoustics. And you can get a drink and take it to your seat.
- Eric CastroJune 12, 2017Beware the second tier of balcony seats; the acoustics are fine but the bar stool-height seats are very uncomfortable.
- Reid SpiceMarch 11, 2013you can bring drinks into the performance hall - the seats even have drink holders.
- Not a bad seat in the house. Get a drink to take in with you.
- Rafael BlickwedeSeptember 26, 2013I'm finally here, it's finally here. I'm getting a strong drink and Jazz.
- Forget dinner at the restaurant here. Much better options in the neighborhood.
- Rasheed ShabazzSeptember 29, 2013Besides the strange feeling of knowing black people systematically removed from this community, glad to still be able to hear jazz here.
- Just opened only one of its kind in the nation Jazz center.
- if you ever see a chance to win tix to SFJazz Center on twitter or FB, take it!!!!
