The fish sandwich is messy. Go double open face and ask for the pair of sauces. Spicy and more spicy. It's dry without them. (Hubby's order btw. I got egg scramble)

The "Extra Fancy Memphis Fried Chicken" is an event to remember. Order it with a side of ham and cheese heirloom grits, or brussels sprouts with whipped foie gras glaze and feel no pain. Read more

I highly recommend the shredded pork shoulder, fried chicken, and clementine cocktail (one of their fresh muddled drinks). Servers are very attentive and sweet.

Great vibe. Tasty cocktails. Get the muddled blueberry cocktail. It's served in a mason jar. So cute! The short-ribs burger is good. Sides spicy kale and the basil-butter mashed potatoes also good!

My new favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great bar. Knowledgeable staff. Broccoli and white fish toast are my go to starters. For entrées try the squid ink risotto and the blue crab spaghetti.

Between the rural, romantic vibe (pale blue walls, distressed-wood tables) and real-steal prices, this folksy American spot, from the team behind Peaches HotHouse, is tailor-made for budget dating. Read more

Quaint little spot with fresh and delicious food...hearty but not heavy. I've convinced the Eggs Benedict was modernized here; they're the best I've ever had!

Start off with the charcuterie plate that features tender cheeks and a creamy pate. Carolina gold (that's the type of rice) risotto to follow and burger to finish. BAM.

had the burger w/American—tasty + the perfect size. had the sauteed kale w/pickled chiles—amazing. tasted the fried chicken—excellent. there's a very random, relaxed vibe at the bar.

Start with fried green tomatoes. Fried chicken is fine, whiting sandwich is better. Use your phone's flashlight to see what's in your side salad if you sit in one of the ridiculously dim seats.

Nice Place! We had the Fried Chicken, Short Rib Burger, Cheesy Grits w/ Ham, Fries and Fried Green Tomatoes for a starter. Everything was really great!

Sunday brunch service is abysmally slow (90 minutes from checkin), and the staff are like headless chickens, scrambling. Food is good; great in some areas, but you're definitely not getting value. M

Low country cuisine from South Carolina. Good cocktails, as well. Get the fried chicken (one person should to share at least) and use the oil. Service can be iffy.

Surf and turf! ham & cheese grits and some of the wine bottle prices are 👌. The space is big and there's a bar area. Music and lighting were a+ when I went and it wasn't too loud. Service was slow.
