Absolutely worth the wait. Beef ribs and pork belly are fantastic, but I think everything is, actually. Bread pudding and banana pudding are excellent if you are looking for an exclamation point.

The real trick here is the beef rib. Sold by the piece and worth every penny of the $18/lb. price tag, it's a meaty masterpiece. Peppery bark gives way to meat slicked with perfectly rendered fat. Read more

About a year before this smoked meats mecca opened, Ronnie Killen was hosting barbecue pop-ups that have earned this place long lines of folks eager to taste ribs, sausage & brisket. [Eater 38 Member] Read more

Beef ribs (best I've had) and Brisket (2nd best) hands down. Heads up that the beef ribs are huge!! Like forearm sized. So 1 rib will be about 1.5 lbs ~$33.

Worth the short wait. Went there on a Thursday at 11:30 AM, wait wasn't too bad. FYI, you don't have to get back in line once you're inside to order again. I'll let the photo do the talking!

Ronnie Killen's permanent Pearland location is open! The reverse-flow pit is being put to good use, since the long lines and sold-out 'cue continue at this '50s-inspired cafeteria-style meat mecca. Read more

Everyone talks about the beef ribs, and for good reason, perfect texture and a head rush of flavor. Just do it because otherwise you'd regret it!

By far one of the best BBQ locations in the State of Texas. This is a place that must be put on your list for BBQ aficionados. Ronnie does this right and well worth the wait.

The new sit down layout is great. Had a chance to get all the sides. Mac and cheese brisket and beef rib. Can’t go wrong.

Fella's let Killen's do the grilling and you play more golf. Ladies book a spa date and leave your dinner party meat entree to Killen's. The beef by the pound is delectably delicious. #dontmissit

Be prepared for a long wait, but: Best pulled pork ever, and I’ve had plenty. Excellent brisket. I even liked the slaw and I don’t like slaw. Save room for the bread pudding.

Wasn't able to try the beef ribs and had the brisket, pork belly and sausage. All are good. Probably the best BBQ I've had on this Houston trip

Everything is really good! Of course BBQ is delicious (served a little warm) but the sides are to die for (not served hot either).

For weekend lunch get there at 10:30 (opens at 11) for shorter line and getting a table. Creamed corn is a must. Pulled pork and sausage are great.

Killens did not live up to my expectations. Pork ribs and briaket were cold. This is a big no-no for such a famous place. Quiantity was fair for the price. The corn was very good.

BBQ is decent but not as good as some in central Tx. Brisket cut too thick and even lean is fatty. Sausage not good at all. Turkey is pretty good. Overall not a place I will frequent due to the wait.
