- I have lived here for over a test and just went to Darwin's for the first time today. It was fantastic! I ordered the Kenway, which was delicious, and they were really fast.
- Em AveryAugust 5, 2018Often need to be patient to get a seat, but has to-go if you're not able to wait. Gluten free bread is home-made - if they run out, ask for a sandwich as a salad. Try the Kyoto coffee and the chai.
- Patrick HaneyOctober 2, 2013If you want one of the daily specials, or a salad, you can ask someone behind the counter and then head straight to the register and skip the usually long wait for delicious sandwiches.Upvoted Feb 6
- Adam SigelSeptember 2, 2018The Memorial Drive is the best breakfast sandwich you’ll get anywhere. Over medium eggs, bacon, avocado, and sharp cheddar. Get it on toasted sourdough.
- Shawn McCuskerJune 29, 2014A little out of the way but worth the walk. I will definitely come back. Great sandwiches and an awesome local coffee shop vibe. Got work done, are great food.
- Jonathan HertelAugust 15, 2014Delicious sandwiches and baked goods with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The Mount Auburn location also has a nice selection of beer, wine, and local ciders.
- The Hubbard Park sandwich is super fresh and flavorful. Get here before the afternoon if you want the delicious 7-grain bread.
- James MarshallDecember 28, 2015Excellent sandwiches and breakfast. Clunky ordering coffee on one side and sandwiches on the other, but no big deal.
- Lindsay D'AndreaNovember 11, 2015Be sure to browse the amazing wine selection..exclusive to the mt. Auburn location. One of my favorite places to go for a bottle.
- Always been a huge fan of their sandwiches ( Hubbard Park, Sparks, Longfellow, Clubber Lang) but recently discovered their soups. I've had 5+ varieties now and they're all amazing. Give it a try.
- Jacquie SandbergMay 16, 2013Power cords! Oh happy day! Free dog biscuits. Get a Story sandwich, a chai latte, and enjoy the people watching. No cell phones. Writing this clandestinely.
- Jonathan YuDecember 27, 2015Huron sandwich is a must try. Smoked salmon, tomatoes, onion, cream cheese and fried egg on a sourdough bread!
- Rob AtkinsonMay 2, 2016Delicious sandwiches, though line can get long and it is slow. They serve breakfast sandwiches til 3pm on weekends
- Serious EatsFebruary 1, 2014Reliable homemade soups, sandwiches, and pastries at this coffee shop near Harvard Square
- CityRover MediaJanuary 5, 2011Try the “Mem. Drive” breakfast sandwich (eggs, bacon, avocado, and cheddar), or the “Hubbard Park” for lunch, with a generous amount of hummus, avocado, thin apple slices, carrots, sprouts & cheddar. Read more
- The Kenway is the bomb. This location is a bit smaller than the Cambridge st one, so if you have a large party, head there. Sandwiches are the same, but named differently for local streets.
- BikaboutApril 16, 2014A uniquely multi-purpose rest stop, Darwin's scores very highly in the breakfast/coffee dimension, the lunch/sandwich dimension, AND on the beer/wine/basic grocery dimension.
- Rosie MartinezOctober 4, 2014Great atmosphere for studying. Good coffee, an abundance of tea, and delicious sandwiches.

- Karine HsuMay 9, 2016really any of the sandwiches! Can be hard to find a place to sit during lunchtime

- Ali Al-SaeedDecember 15, 2018I had a Latte which was good. However I didn’t enjoy the cinnamon roll as it was a bit dry and crunchy
- Natie BOctober 2, 2011Seating can be tough to get- people tend to "camp out". Get the Mt Auburn, Longfellow, or the storey. Their made to order specials are great too.
- Try the Prosciutto Parm Scone. Tucked away on the far end of the pastries but not to be missed.
- Lauren ChristopherOctober 19, 2017The best Darwin's in Cambridge! Best seating, best food and best service:)
- A SApril 14, 2018We had the sandwich and the soup, and we could barely eat it. And hard to find a space if you want you eat in. Staff wasn't nice/friendly, not sure why.
- Sticky buns, mochas, any tea, any sandwich-everything is good
- Grab a sangwich, all of which are named after nearby streets--I dig the Mt. Auburn--then head just up the road to Longfellow Park to munch.
- Rhonda MSeptember 2, 2013Most amazing breakfast sandwiches, and the surliest counter staff that ever could be.
- Taroon AminSeptember 25, 2011The JFK burritos are a bit juicy and drip if you don't eat it correctly. But great otherwise
- Ville KeranenApril 10, 2012One of the best cappuccino I've had in the USA, highly recommended place.
- Margaret MyersMarch 20, 2014Pretty uninspired vegan options. Never enough seating. Lines are mayhem despite best efforts.
