Samuel WinderöJanuary 14, 2017Rent some bikes go there and peddle away. Loads of fun, good training. Bring snacks or why not bring a basket of them. You can turn it to a full day thing without being bored.

i.am. a.October 28, 2015Former airport turned into recreation park. Huge outdoor space that is used for picnics, running, biking, rollerblading, kite skating etc. Absolutely love it. Must see in Berlin.
Stephen DSeptember 19, 2017Great and open park for biking, running, etc. Location is cool as much of the airport infrastructure is still in place. Almost no shade or shelter so be careful on hot or rainy days.

Karlito MOctober 12, 2017If the weather's nice then this is a great place to go. It's a big field (previously an airport) where people go to sit on the grass, bike around, rollerskate. You can loan a bike/etc there too.
IsabelAugust 7, 2014On a sunny day, grab a friend and rent a pair of rollerblades or go karts and take to the runways!!!! Great fun way to exercise!- have a picnic, take your bike or skates for a ride, play minigolf. or just relax in the sun. there‘s room for everyone.

Jan A.April 12, 2020This is a "park" quite popular amongst Berliners and tourists. Apart from the fact, that you can walk/hike/bike on the former airfield and tarmac, the attraction of this crappy meadow is beyond me.

An old airport, the perfect place to grab a beer with friends. Bring you bike, it's so lovely to bike around the old runways.
Huge open space for outdoor activities like kite, grill, run, rollerblade, bike etc. Grab a beer and enjoy the sunshine.

So good to have such a vast area in the district to relax & enjoy the nice weather.
Nice place to take a stroll, ride your bike or relax in the sun. Be aware of reckless kite-longboarder!
Nice place, but they close the exit gate at around 9-10pm and you would need to queue a lot on a summer day
