Nice industrial looking space crawling with hipsters. The coffee is good with variety of unique extraction techniques and single origin beans. They'll fill your growlers up here for you.
The Arts District revival is in full boot with places like Stumptown bringing their full array of coffees to the trendy masses. Come on Saturday mornings and nosh the Free Range LA food truck, too!
Nitro cold brew on tap is great if you are a cold brew fan. The iced latte is another solid choice if you're looking for something not so intense. There's wi-if so it's a great spot to kill time.
Local Arts District coffee shop with tea, hot chocolate and juices as well. Be sure to get a loyalty card for drinks and coffee beans if you plan on coming back.

One of my favorite places to go when craving for caffeine in DTLA. Über cool ambiance, hipsters everywhere and a delicious (iced) almondlatte. And street parking was never a problem..
The converted warehouse, now home to one of Stumptown's roasteries and a cavernous, light-filled café, is the perfect place to soak in the local culture.
Not too much seating going on so this is not a place you come to chill for hours. Coffee is some of the best in LA now but that shouldn't be a surprise.
