- All the National Express drivers I've encountered over the past few weeks have been very polite & friendly. Can't be the best job but most seem cheerful & some appear to take pride in their work.Upvoted Mar 1
- Aria T. Kharisma™April 11, 2015Located in central London and since the city is attract so many tourists from all over the world, the size of the station is too small to accommodate the number of passengers who come and go.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- The best thing to do while here? Red the tips on four square, laugh, get the hell of of here as soon as you can!Upvoted Feb 29
- This place is grim. 'Village of the Damned' grim. No alcohol so go to train station/Sainsbury/pub opposite or cope by eating cheap (& surprisingly good) sandwiches, pasties & sweets from 'Treats'.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Costs to use the toilet. Departures better than arrivals and they have a place to charge your phone although I think it does cost too. Leave plenty of time before your coach leaves as it's quite big.
- Марина АкишеваSeptember 20, 2016You can leave luggage here. It's cheaper then at railroad station. Picture attached.
- Ben JonesMarch 17, 2014People begin to queue around six hours before boarding, so get here early to avoid suffering more than is absolutely necessary.
- When you see a long que at the gate, don't sit down and wait! Otherwise you won't get to pick your favourite seat or sit beside your loved ones😭 ( unless, if your are travelling alone)
- Don't get here more than 10 mins ahead! The snacks can cost more than your bus ticket, the pigeons fly haphazardly low, and the people are... varied. However, coaches are cheap and mostly on time!
- Sharika YuenDecember 20, 2018There is a Greggs here now! Yaaasss!! Breakfast roll and a coffee for peanuts. 👍🏼👍🏼🦖
- Airport coaches run all night, but all the food & drink places are closed by midnight - even Treats! Go to the rail station down the road if you need supplies.
- AmandaMarch 30, 2013Not a great deal of room at the gates so beware if you have a large suitcase. Deluxe de France, Upper Crust and other small take-away cafes / shops here to buy brekkie and snacks.
- Jennie ChanSeptember 7, 2013Even though you have printed your ticket for Eurolines, you STILL need to check-in to get your boarding pass. Big tip for those not from here!
- I've been reading a lot of comments about rude coach drivers. I'm at the coach station now and the only rude person is an uptight passenger. National Express coach drivers are the best. Great service.
- Clau HLJanuary 3, 2015If you are in the arrivals area and want to get a map, don't buy it from the little store, there's a machine that will sell them cheaper right before the exit. 😉
- Go get food from inside the train station across the road. Only 2 min walk & you have sainsburys, wasabi, to sushi, a wetherspoons and more!
- EmyleeSeptember 12, 2014Make sure and get directions here from the tube station. It isn't a straight shot!
- Treats, the station corner shop, has actually opened a café here with 60 seats. Fu*kin' ace!
- Lyuba SpassovaMarch 21, 2016Whoever decided that it is acceptable to close the station at 1a.m. and make all the people freeze outside the gates has completely lost sense of humanity
- Pedro Henrique MoschettaOctober 2, 2016The Oxford Tube buses leave from outside the station, across the street. If you buy the tickets through the Megabus website it's cheaper.
- On arrival, walk towards the traffic lights for Buckingham Palace Road, turn right to go towards Chelsea, go straight ahead up St George's Drive for hotels or turn left for Victoria Railway Station.
- Paul WrightMay 6, 2013Stand by the door of your gate way early and see how big a queue you can create. We managed 31!
- Katarína DedinskáSeptember 26, 2023They really need to do something about capacity and cleanliness of this place. The wait here is really unpleasant so my advice is just to come here right on time.
- Emma-Louise BullionsOctober 6, 2012It's cheaper than the train, but don't expect rainbows! Toilets are 30p a go and the train station's just across the road. The signs are very misleading, though! #mumblegrumble
- KarenSeptember 19, 2023The station is clean enough. Not the easiest to find when getting out of the Underground. Use your Google Maps!
- Hayley BallardOctober 15, 2016Very smart coach terminal, word of warning though - hot food is not permitted on the coach & as a result of no bins in the terminal there can be a lot of rubbish on surfaces
- Ilya CherevkovApril 14, 2013Go to the travellers' tavern and take a cup of hot chocolate while waiting. There is a free wi fi "The Cloud"
- Firstname SecondnameOctober 8, 2011The food vendor on the corner of the smaller coach station make the best Spring Rolls ever!
- Alejandra GonzalezDecember 20, 2013Indeed one of the most depressing places on earth. Reading all the tips made my waiting a tad bit funnier. Someone please get rid of the bloody pigeons!
- Fabio NardiniMarch 23, 2013Come with the train next time.. No worth came with couch for saving some pounds and be 50 minutes late..
- Samuel RichOctober 2, 2011They dont always call boarding for each coach. Check to see of your coach is at the gate and if so walk to it!
- Danni DaviesNovember 4, 2010There's usually no seats left whilst waiting and someone will almost always push in front to get on the coach. Don't get there too early.
- DMFebruary 26, 2016Be careful with birds inside, they could have an unexpected surprise for you heads :)
- Serge VdovychenkoJuly 29, 2013Purchase tickets beforehand online. About twice cheaper than from a wending machine here.
- Mikael DaalMay 23, 2014Want to charge your phone? At departure gate 6 you can by the little table. Your welcome 😏
- Free wifi, great little shops to pick up snacks for your travels!
- SandraOctober 1, 2012You can find the Evan Evans tours here... Even though the tourist center at the train station told me to look for a Burger King... Yeah can't see that until your in the station. No help from her!
- Daniel HajdukNovember 3, 2014Hard to get lost , everything is easy, staff is helpful. Dont buy water and sandwiches on the station is overpriced. In front of station is sainsburys / much cheaper. Free wifi sometimes, paid toilets
- If you fancy an affordable snack, grab a pasty or spring roll from "Treats" near the entrance and near Gate 12
- Dafydd GriffithsJune 17, 2011Best thing about the station is that the coach will (eventually) take you away from the place!
- Sara RamalhoJuly 19, 2014If you found it really busy and you still have time cross the round and have a cappuccino at Nero
- If you want to use the toilets or buy a snack, don't forget to get an overdraft in advance from your bank.
- Get here at least 20 minutes early for your return coach. Toilets are 30p, like everywhere else.
