- Matt HansonSeptember 16, 2016Exceptional tapas-style dishes, modern British with Asian & global influences. Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded but deserves a star.
- Stuart LambMay 14, 2014The menu was 4 choices under the headings of Meat, Fish & Veg and 4 desserts; the menu changes every day, so you could come back tomorrow as well! Young, lively , current music not quiet – its vibran
- DaniJanuary 12, 2015Amazing food and service! Menu changes constantly with seasonal and local produce. Had whelk gyoza, carrot bhajis, and amazing chicken wings with a lovely organic blonde beer. 6 for 4 on Sunday's
- Thomas KnüwerJuly 4, 2017Cozy little place with an open kitchen. Dishes are innovative and seasonal. They call it Tapas but actually these are normal dishes. "Grass is greener" is awesome!
- Elin SandbergMay 30, 2018What’s not to like here?! The food was amazing, really enjoyed watching the chefs in action. Nicest staff and cool vibe.
- Christine FaiJuly 3, 2016V interesting tapas menu with a slightly Asian inspiration. Simple menu of 12 dishes but great combination of flavours. I enjoyed the fettuccine with egg yolk and truffle and rice pudding and peach !
- Stuart LambMay 14, 2014Pork, Beetroot, sage & walnut.. sounds like a good medieval special! it was abso-bloody-lutely delicious… pork fillet so tender, marinated in soy, honey, the beetroot cubed with walnuts was lovely.
- Julia CastMay 7, 2017Duck and asparagus were my favourite, but then again we ordered almost everything on the menu and it was worth it!
- Dave BattenJanuary 30, 2016Go! Eat! Enjoy! Ask about the specials. The oxtail and blue cheese croquettes nearly passed us by!
- Claire WebsterSeptember 10, 2015Some amazing small plates to try here. Ingredients amazing, flavour combinations surprising and delicious. This can make for a very, very rich meal though.
- GuyApril 3, 2015Very creative and fresh feeling restaurant with cool open kitchen and friendly staff. Some dishes are a bit too rich though but apparently the menu changes all the time.
- Book week's in advance to get a seat at the pass to watch the chefs prepare. All staff, chefs included are very friendly.
- Tom KissAugust 9, 2014Lovely food, enjoyed a delicious salmon and watermelon with wasabi mayo. Menu is a bit heavy on cabbage at the moment though!
- Stuart LambMay 14, 2014Advisable to book… I tried to get a table last night by phoning and they were full until 10pm, so it is worth booking in advance.
- Lee ChapmanJune 29, 2014Potato knödel and burnt butter was a revelation but my first introduction to lardo (with watermelon and smoked mozzarella) was a life changer.
- Luke CanvinNovember 29, 2014Incredible food! Small to medium sized sharing plates of stunningly prepared ingredients.
- Paul DoranFebruary 19, 2017Just amazing every time. The best food served in Brighton in a cosy environment.
- Kevin SchmidtNovember 22, 2014Try to sit along the bar that overlooks the chefs. You get to see the magic happen.
- Tim WhitworthApril 20, 2014Great little alternative, tapas - style, restaurant, booking a table is highly recommended
- Phill MckenzieFebruary 25, 2015Sit at the passé and watch the chefs prepare your food whilst they explain the menu
- Stuart LambMay 14, 2014Noted that the Fizz choices on the menu were English Ridgeviews… very nice… who needs Champagne these days!?
- Shuvani BurtDecember 3, 2017Small restaurant so a booking is necessary. Food is nicely presented and delicious.
- Danny HopeSeptember 17, 2014Book as a group of 4 or 6. If you want somewhere intimate for 2, go somewhere else.
- Bijan YoungJanuary 17, 2015Great deserts. The rest is a good tapas idea but only one or two of our choices we would repeat (wings and sea bass). The others just repeated. Good service but patchy timings in dishes being served.
- Bijan YoungJanuary 12, 2015Interesting to try. Found the main courses with too many flavours and nothing outstanding. The rum gummy bear and the passion fruit dessert though are a must
