- Leann BNovember 27, 2016I only come in end of Sept. fun beach, love watching the birds, seals, and the tide changes. Fun to walk super far out on sand bars and where the bay meets the ocean. Wish I'd see a shark.. one day :(

If you're lucky you might see some friendly seals.- Located in Chatham at the elbow of Cape Cod, this is a very popular beach in the summertime. However, my favorite time to walk this beach is in the winter when it's quiet and bare.
What a great beach! Perfect for a long stroll in the morning when you can actually get a parking spot. So picturesque, don't forget your camera!

Lighthouse beach is a beautiful beach located in front of Chatham Lighthouse. With miles of sandy beach this is a perfect spot for a walk or evening picnic. Parking is 30 minutes. Current is significant and NOT recommended for swimming. There are designated swimming areas and NO lifeguards on duty.
