Everything was phenomenal, from the service to the decor to the meal. We went on a Friday with no reservation, tried our luck at 8:30 & she was able to seat is at 10:30, so we just got a drink nearby.

They're doing something really special here. If you have an open mind about creative cooking, aren't a unyielding carnivore, the you'll love this place. The bread and desserts are also so so on point!

Semilla was one of the three spots awarded best restaurant of 2015. Even if you rarely eat meat, the vegetable-centric Semilla will challenge your notions of what's supposed to taste good.

Semilla was amazing. Artistic and delicious. The bread selection changes by the day and is amazing. You can't go wrong with their tasting menu. Make a reservation in advance!

What a great meal! Loved pretty much every course. The sourdough rye bread was a highlight. We are vegetarian, and they did a great job of accommodating us.

Chefs Jose and Pam work magic with their 10-course "vegetable-forward" tasting menu. My favorites were the sunchoke chawanmushi and roasted carrots in pea shoot broth.

The best course (which is saying a lot) will be the bread. The slices arrive about halfway through, crisp on the outside, chewy-soft inside. Read more

Delicious, tasting table only. Lots of small courses. Love it but not a place I would come back to frequently.

This vegetarian-friendly prix fixe menu is excellent for romantic dates or special occasions. All other bread must bow before their Einkorn-Buckwheat bread.

The tasting menu is thoughtful, perfectly paced, and heady. The natural wines compliment the earnest food, especially the eccentric contact wines. Bravo.

salad with cocoa dressing is great and all, but at least on my visit, both desserts were clear winners. Gewürztraminer too.

For all the hype, only the broccoli salad and the bitter almond custard were delicious. Wonder if all the hype is because of the ever changing menu? Decent but doesn't live up to expectations

Despite the fact that their "must-listen-to" recorded message says they are open on Tuesdays, they appear not to be. You could find that out if they answered the phone after 530pm. Alas, they don't.
