- Jason LeeMarch 13, 2015For the ultimate Santouka experience, there's no choice but the LARGE Tonkotsu Toroniku with an egg on top! Go with Shio for a classic flavor. The pork cheek perfectly tender and juicy.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Ian KennedySeptember 2, 2018If it’s crowded, leave your phone number and head over to the Harvard Bookstore down the block. They’ll text you when your table is ready.
- Shio ramen w/ aji-tama (marinated soft boiled egg). Takoyaki is delicious! Really light and fluffy!
- I love the Shoyu Ramen! The noodles are lovingly hand-cut and the broth made from scratch. Delectable pork belly topped with some nori and naruto!
- Cameron WMay 31, 2019Just as good as the LA and bay area locations. Highly recommended. Get the special pork with salt broth. You won’t regret it.
- Elaine CourtneyMarch 19, 2016Still probably the best ramen in the Boston-Cambridge-Somerville area! You won't go wrong with the ikura rice bowl and ramen combo.
- Authentic Ramen! Tsukemen only on the weekend! The gyoza are very tasty! The pork is very soft :)
- The small size is still really filling! Eggs are extra but worth it. Don't forget to start your meal with their great takoyaki!
- Leach E. E.September 17, 2015Fourth of the four broth choices (chilli miso) good. Order an egg on the side--soft-boiled!
- Rich SarchioniAugust 2, 2016Everything, I like the signature tokonotsu (sp) ramen. No booze but food is so worth it and service is fast.
- JNovember 7, 2016Decent ramen (won't be groundbreaking), but one of the better Harvard square choices. Quite popular & wait times are usually 15-20 minutes in the evening.
- Baris WanschersJune 15, 2015No veggies ramen on the menu but if you ask them they can make it. You get a vegetation broth and they substitute the meat with eggs.
- Philip SeifiFebruary 24, 2015Excellent Hokkaido ramen, variety of broths, authentic atmosphere, friendly Japanese-speaking service.
- Rosie MartinezMarch 17, 2015Love having ramen in the area, noodles are perfect, broth is light but flavorful
- Ramen is pretty good here. Aji-tama on the side is a good complement to ramen. Spicy miso ramen I recommend.
- Tim LuoMay 1, 2015Best ramen in Boston hands down. Come here multiple times and try different broths!
- William Gao YuanAugust 10, 2016Their tsukemen is amazing! Make sure you eat it when the broth is still hot
- Zach ParkerNovember 15, 2019Santouka Harvard Square at 9 minutes to the north of Allston and Boston real estate agency.jpg
- Definitely one of the best places in town for ramen. The ramen/gyoza deal is awesome
- Ramen it’s my fav but my husbands Lao loves the takoyaki 😋
- joe leeApril 12, 2018How does a ramen restaurant not give/sell extra noodles. You can get extra noodles for the tsukeman but can’t get extra noodles for regular ramen...
- Sophia HOctober 10, 2017Good ramen but a bit salty (it might be just me, since all ramen bowls seemed a bit salty to me). Shoyu was good, but shio seemed better to me, dang.
- Margaret WangMarch 24, 2015Good ramen, but pricey. I prefer the ramen places I've been to in New York.
- Spencer SchoebenFebruary 27, 2015food was fantastic. the service could have been better. but this location is new. probably still working out the kinks.
- Sandra RubinchikJuly 8, 2015Is this place casual? Upscale? It can't decide. And the spicy ramen is anything but spicy.
- I would say the appetite rice is better than the ramen. Nice service though.
- M3t47 G34rJuly 30, 2016Hit or miss. Not best when crowded. Presentation not great. However, on a good day, Tonkotsu Toroniku is great! Toroniku sliders, not so much.
