Very authentic Japanese restaurant. Set menus are good for tasting the most out of the menu. Ribs and oysters are recommended. Unfortunately there is no sushi here

Fave dish: kakimayo!! Next would be fried Brie and cheese+mushroom bibimbap. Sakabar has become a lot more packed over the last year...at least they take reservations now!

Great atmosphere, loud fun service. It's a great place to try a variety of what I consider Japan tapas. If you have an open mind/palate I recommend it.

It was louder than a night club on a Friday night. Then it was somebody's birthday and it became rock concert level. hahaha Excellent food. Neo Japanese Morimoto style cuisine. I prefer traditional.

Don't sit at the corner bar by the stairs to the bathroom you'll get less attention from servers. I don't understand why they don't open the other half of the plans when they are at 40 minute waits!?

Get ready for a hell of a greeting when you enter this place. They make you feel special when you come in and when you leave. Lots of shouting.

Unfortunately not what it used to be. It’s not bad but food quality has gone down, service not as good, and last time I was there the bartender was polishing glassware with his breath.
