- Add $1 to the prices you see on the price boards when you're paying at the cashier. The extra $1 will be refunded to you when you return your tray at the automated Tray Return Station.
- mo pleasureMay 8, 2016apart from delish teppei kaisendon which speaks 4 itself, the pizza from 'world is flat' food truck & rendang nachos were tasty & satisfying. $1 refund when u return ur tray. prepare 2 queue & wait!
- Jess ThiaMay 7, 2016Love the flavour and texture of these Mini Churros on ad-hoc promotion board at S$5 (compared to the usual size at S$9), from Portico Platos --> Hidden Gem at corner of Timbre+ with least visibility
- The stalls selling affordable local food mainly operate during breakfast & lunch on weekdays. For breakfast, there's at least 10 stalls selling food like kaya toast, noodles & even chicken rice!
- There is a $1 tray deposit system at work here. $1 is added on to your bill when you pay. You'll get your dollar back from the dispenser above the tray return slot.
- Ervin K.July 3, 2016A casual, fun, instaworthy hawker centre, also great for catch ups. Come early before 7pm to have seats! There's also live music at night! Remember to return your trays to get back your $1
- It is hot/warm, so dress light. Friends who eat here during lunch say they're usually drenched in sweat at the end of their meals. Evenings are cooler, only if u avoid the middle of the food court
- Pongteh rice set. Flavourful curried dish from Curry Rice Stall. Topped with stir-fried cabbages & a fried egg. Stall also offers other mouth-watering options: curry chicken, mutton, pork chop, fish
- Enjoyed the savoury flavours of Fat Samurai pizza slice from The World Is Flat #01-04. Duck confit with a load of other tasty stuff. It was their pepperoni-based Old School that was forgettable
- Jess ThiaApril 29, 2016Premium Handmade Fishball Noodle set (S$6) for lunch from The Fishball Story food stall at #01-14. 好吃的鱼圆面. Good Mee Pok texture and flavourful fishcake and fishball, but crowded during peak lunch hour
- Indonesian Bakmie. Jokomie 01-09 offers a variety of this Indonesian comfort noodles dish. Signature is minced chicken fried giant wantans. Noodles was tasty. A crowd fave is Salted Egg Indomie
- Nasi Padang stall welcomes regulars daily. Ingredients are fresh, lots of love goes into preparing the spices, including her sambal belachan
- Zichar style fried noodles. Stall operating under title “Mixed Food” 01-20 (with Chinese name 友财熟食) whips up freshly-fried & yummy noodle plates. Bee hoon, hor fun. Skip fried rice — it’s precooked
- Compared to kopi stall 24, Drinks & Toast #15 takes their kaya toast & soft-boiled eggs seriously. Well toasted bread, generous butter slices, & eggs are actually half-boiled (instead of overcooked)
- Jess ThiaMay 7, 2016Fri: Long queue & wait for over-hyped Philippines-styled Salted Garlic Roasted Pork 'Lechon' from Iskina Cebu stall. 1/4 portion of non-spicy original roasted pork at S$11 is just right for trying.
- Wantan mee. Wong Kee 01-06. Generous serving of vege. Noodles were 'q' (springy) but perplexed by starchy sauce poured on it. Char siew (BBQ pork) slices were overly-marinated. Fried wantans salty
- Check with bottle shop for a great variety of international beer and cider, plus, 3 craft beers on tap.
- Elise ❥July 6, 2016The return-tray for $1 incentive seems to work as there's actually a q with people returning trays. Nice place with both indoor and ample outdoor seating. Good food choices and live music.
- Jess ThiaMay 7, 2016Seafood Paella - Luncheon Portion (S$9 for 1 pax) from Portico Platos. At least this is something value-for-money for its flavours and quality among majority of other over-priced stuff for night time.
- Like all Timbre establishments, they have a stage here for live band performances. Nice!
- Jess ThiaApril 16, 2016Big ceiling fans are OK on a cooling weekday evening. Variety of cuisines, meat-eaters paradise. Bring at least cash S$15 and more here for modern casual dining. Have to pay S$1 for tray deposit.
- Fishball noodles. After sampling @ Fishball Story twice, both my dining companions & I agreed that except for the deep fried fish skin (which we can get from supermarkets), nothing else stood out
- Jess ThiaApril 30, 2016Thurs 8.40pm: There's still non-alcoholic drinks from Two Wings stall (soft drinks & sour plum drinks), Gayatri Restaurant Indian cuisine stall (kopi bing) & Bak Kut Teh stall (iced jelly drink).
- Fried chicken wings rice. Shiokalicious! Love the 'har cheong gai' (fermented shrimp paste marinate) interpretation. Get a plate from Ah Tan Wings
- Y.May 12, 2016Yes please try the Bak kut Teh Claypot set. Add $1 for mushroom and another $2 for Mee Sua ❤️❤️ remember to return your tray!
- Shwe Yee WinAugust 2, 2016Try tuk tuk viet Thai cuisine. Esp. Thai basil chicken rice. So much meat! Viet pork chop rice won't disappoint as well.
- Shrimp Po'Boy from Dancing Crab Shack was yummy. We'd order this again. Their filling recipe had a good balance of shredded (not fried) prawn meat & sauce
- Ha PhuongDecember 20, 2017The Indian food truck is tasty - I have also seen a lot of Indians eating here as well. I would say a bit more expensive than usual, but the masala dosa is worth the try.
- After sampling a number of stalls, this is NOT the place for dinner food. For the price u pay, u r better off in a restaurant @ nearby Holland Village. Even the draught beers are expensive ($15!)
- Sarah YapApril 29, 2016It's huge! So many options for (almost) all budgets. Good for big groups during lunch then right? Great mix of all sorts. Starts from $2.50 for fried rice.
- Jess ThiaApril 30, 201628 Apr 2016 Thur review: Ample vacant seats when the live band took their interval break After its 7.30pm-9pm performance. Next performance from 9.30pm-10.15pm, then probably 10.45pm-11.30pm.
- Jess ThiaMay 7, 2016Crab Fried Rice (S$10 for 1 pax) from Dancing Crab Shack. OK lah to fill the stomach (especially when most other eateries are closed by 9.45pm on weekdays).
- Jess ThiaApril 16, 2016Needless to say, Tray Return success rate is high, cos we have to pay extra S$1 per tray at the point of food ordering; S$1 deposit would be refunded upon returning of tray at Tray Return section.
- The concept is great but the end result lacking. A mix of overcrowded Singapore favourites and overpriced hipster joints means if you actually wanna eat your choices are limited. Great tray system tho
- Jess ThiaApril 16, 2016No performance on Tues night, and the place is closed on Sunday. Nonetheless, decent place at decent price for me to stopover for late night chill-out dinner after night work appointment on Mon-Thur.
- So much choices from typical hawker food like fishball noodles, nasi padang to lobster roll and other angmo jiak. It's a happening place to hangout too.
- The live shows here are awesome. Truly good experience to dine here after a day of coding!! ♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪
- M SApril 27, 2016The lobster roll from Dancing Crab is pathetic with little meat and coleslaw mixed into the bun. It doesn't taste good and it's definitely not worth $24.
- Jess ThiaNovember 3, 2016Early dinner with mum, come before 6pm on Sat for cheap drinks and the award-winning noodle from The Fishball Story hawker stalls.
- Prawn noodles. Fragrant but low value. 1.5 prawns and 2 square pieces of pork ribs — for $5
- Kars AlfrinkApril 21, 2016They have food trucks selling things like BBQ at steep prices. I got a style over substance vibe from this place. On the other hand the area is a food desert so you might as well go here.
- Chris LeeApril 26, 2018Average chicken rice, not bad, can give it a try. By bringing back the tray to the drop zone you will get a refund of $1, if the machine fail to refund, do call the staff inside for refund
- Crispy 12-hour pork belly was delicious. But they have to do something about the potato mash that tasted like it was some commercial instant mix. At $18, you'd expect them to take some pride
- Street-level parking @ LaunchPad, around blocks 71, 73 or 79. Although only one-third is accessible. Photo: timbre+
- Briyani is expensive. This plate of mutton briyani is almost $10. Taste & flavours are average. As it’s operated by Gayatri, u r better off eating at one of their restaurants
- Create a bowl of whatever. Vatos Express 01-28 lets u pick your own combo of proteins, vegetables & carbs. Be careful; not all items go together
- Jess ThiaMay 7, 2016SMS Songs Dedication Service at 92462227 for Timbre+ when there's live band performance 😃 http://timbreplus.sg/music/
