'21' welcomes you with superb American cuisine, award-winning wine list and incomparable service.
Old school cocktails. Martini is huge--you get what you pay for. Burger good, also quite large. Bartenders super friendly.
Classic New York spot with a gorgeous, stuffy dining room. The Cobb salad was fully disgusting, but the vehicle
Meats and their own burger
dry aged burger
Great place for special occasions - gotta have the classic steak tartare
Burger, octopus carpaccio, service
It is an institution and food isn't bad but service can be hit and miss and they come after you until they confirm that you checked in coat...
Expensive, but worth going once during restaurant week. Glad we checked it off our list but won't be coming back
Can't beat the classics.
Take a tour of the wine cellar
Dress code or no entry.
More for the atmosphere and its legacy than its food. The Prawn for appetizer is good but nothing too special, and the Amish chicken is a little dry and very mediocre
One of my goto places for business lunch meetings. Good service & good food.
Ask your waiter about touring the spectacular hidden wine cellar in the basement, which was used to hide booze during Prohibition. It's this place's semi-secret gem.
An iconic must-do in NYC
Highly recommend the Dover Sole.
They can provide a jacket. Fun memorabilia on the ceiling.
Blonde brownie sunday
No shorts/jeans allowed. Dress code enforced.
The $34 burger is pretty awesome. But I mean, like yeah.
So they shift you downstairs feel its dishonest when you book for upstairs - not experience to make you come back
Shift women downstairs- disappointing
I wouldn't say their food is out of this world but their customer service is impeccable!
Try the Creme Brulee
Try the crab cake
Come here for a memorable dinner and wonderful service! The ceiling was also a source of entertainment.
Book well in advance. Especially for Saturday evenings!
Food was ho-hum on Thanksgiving Day. One of my companions said their cafeteria food was better at prep school. Even the apple pie (not pumpkin - huh?) tasted like something from the grocery store.
Ask for a tour of their historic wine cellar. I swear...you've never seen anything quite like it.
It may be stuffy, but if old-school, Don Draper Manhattan is your thing, there's nowhere better. And much of the food is still quite good. At lunch, get three courses for $24.
Bring you checkbook $$$$
The food wasn't anything spectacular, but I was here for a corporate event so perhaps that's why
Went in w/out reservation and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Service was great and food was delicious. Interesting crowd.
Flashback to prohibition! Perfect little speakeasy!
One of the worst, most expensive Old Fashioned cocktails I've ever had. For $16 it should be made with a muddled $5 bill, not maraschino cherries.
pricey place but stop for lunch and order from the 3 course pre-fix menu! Great value there and the place has ambiance!
Rye Old-fashioneds & wasabi peas
Best martini ever :)
$50 for a dram of Balvenie Portwood 21 year old! Sheesh!
The cellar is Amazing, the upstairs room more romantic , but any place is a great historic piece of America
We love the decor at 21 Club almost as much as we love the menu. Let us suggest two things. Get dressed up and see "Bethany", then come to the 21 Club Bar!
great bar and food
Sit under Mark Ingram's Heisman-winning helmet in the right dining room or Joe Namath's Jets' helmet in the middle towards the back. ROLL TIDE!
Chocolate soufflé is da bomb.
