The Via Beata Pilgrimage route across the "widest" part of Great Britain is over 400 miles long and passes along South Street in Woodhurst. www.viabeata.co.uk

Great atmosphere in the bar for a more relaxed drinking and eating environment or the dining room has a more formal feel.
Farm Shop has great burgers, lots of sausage varieties and pork pies. There are some pricier kitchenware and a broad selection of craft alcoholic bottled drinks (beers, wines, spirits).
See owls and hawks up close in the raptor flying display. The fly low over your head.
Small bar and restaurant good to call in for an ice cream or beer if cycling past.
The place really comes alive on Monday morning for the market. Many shops are closed 1200 - 1400 for lunch but open late until 1900.
Lots of local produce to buy (wine, leather, honey), local guide books (in French) and leaflets on local attractions.
Dress up warm and wear wellies (it’s muddy). Pick your tree first then go to the shop for gluhwein and minced pies and look at the farm animals and reindeer.
The walk through the woods to see the model dinosaurs can take an hour or so if you stop to read the information boards (many multi-lingual)
Even when it has been dry for a few days it can be muddy so best wear boots or wellies.
