So many beautiful cakes that you just try. Absolutely great value for money as they're so cheap but well worth trying many. The service from the staff is great. A lot of chocolate options. Pastry!

A fantastic paper shop established in 1860s. A dream place for all crafts lovers, from bookbinders to collage artists to people looking for special souvenirs. The owner, Lavinia, is wonderful, too!

Best espresso and cappuccino I ever had. Amazing and very friendly service. Also very cheap pricing. You can also buy freshly roasted beans. They're roasted in the shop. Excellent!

SO CHEAP! Friendly staff. Wine (very small glasses of course) from 60¢ and beer €1.50! Food isn't great but who cares, just have a few drinks before dinner, sit by the canal & people watch. Lovely.

They have all the Venetian traditional seafoods. All are fresh and hot plates are hot, cold antipasti is great. Reservation necessary if you want to sit. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed

Awesome local spot slightly off the beaten track. Grab a drink at the canal-side bar around the corner (head south) and then try to snag a seat outside. Sardines + polenta are a must.

It's a wine shop that sells food on the side – although the cheese and fennel crostini were delicious. The walls are covered by bottles, and there is a fantastic choice of 10 or so wines by the glass
The meatballs are a must try here. The food is excellent and the wine goes well. The staff are friendly, intimate dining experience and great value for money.
This is a nice little cafe that offers mouth-watering cakes and gelato. This is also situated opposite the beautiful Santi Giovanni e Paolo, so you're in for some amazing views if you sit outside.
