Heads up that the bloody Mary's are good but not salty or what you're used to
we went a little after sunset. the pagoda and temple are lit up wonderfully and not a lot of people around.
Heads up that "cafe" in japan means a restaurant. You can just get a coffee but to get the full experience order a drink and a meal.
Watch out for the seahawks!! they divebomb anyone eating food that doesn't look like they're paying attention
So much to do here go into the caves and inside the temples. We didn't do the candle but I bet it has a nice view at sunset. definitely plan a whole day and buy the combo pass.
fun thing to do on a rainy day but was not that impressed with everything. The best parts were the arctic room and attempting to mimic animal speeds. Not really worth the cost though...
Went during the woodblock exhibit and it was totally worth it. I glanced at the regular exhibit and wasn't as impressed.
Since most likely you are a tourist here be warned you must PRE REGISTER to get the free wi-fi... http://starbucks.wi2.co.jp/pc/menu2_en.html.
How to for visitors - check out whats on the conveyor belt but you can order special from the menu. Don't pick up the platformed ones since they are special orders of other people!
Godzilla is here!! It's a pretty intense hike but only $200 yen (there's a 'train' available for additional cost).
Great small ciderey with a worthwhile tasting and brick oven pizza
If you are using googlemaps it'll put you on the street below the restaurant - take the elevator up to the main floor and walk past the fish stands
Don't stand thisclose to the baggage claim in the end it only makes it harder and longer for everyone to get their bags.
