1. Snap Kitchen
Andrew: A lot of the stuff here isn't very healthy, but it's all better than grabbing a burger from McDonalds. Check the labels.
2. Nordstrom Rack Centre
3. Green Vegetarian Cuisine
Andrew: Normally I expect to spend more at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. This place is very reasonably priced, and the food was awesome (and I'm not a vegetarian).
4. Potbelly Sandwich Shop
Andrew: Fresh avocado for $1? Of course I want avocado on my sandwich.
5. Smoothie King
Andrew: The carrot kale is tasty and low in calories. If you've never had kale, you won't even notice the taste in this.
6. Texas Treasures
Andrew: This place has great Texas themed decorations, t-shirts, and tchotchkes that help play up Texas stereotypes.
7. Jimmy John's
Andrew: Forgot to order cheese in my sandwich. Cheese does not come on them by default.
8. Perry & Sons Market & Grille
Andrew: The Hawaiian chicken plate was delicious. The rice has peppers in it, though.
9. Ross Dress for Less
Andrew: This place is empty late on week nights. Best time to come.
10. Loma Linda
Andrew: Breakfast all day.
11. Hoàng Sandwich
Andrew: Best tofu bahn me I've ever had.
12. Jimmy John's
Andrew: Don't forget: a lot of the sandwiched don't come with cheese unless you ask for it.
13. The Container Store
Andrew: I want to buy everything here and just never have to look at my stuff again.
14. Whole Earth Provision Company
Andrew: If you mashed up an Urban Outfitters, an REI, and a museum gift shop, you'd get this.
15. Jenni's Noodle House
Andrew: As a non-vegan, the art car curry has made me question wether I need meat in my diet anymore or not. Until I get the pork & shrimp egg rolls.
16. green seed vegan
Andrew: I love the PB&P. It's so filling. Cauliflower nuggets are also great, but the serving size is shareable.
17. DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse
Andrew: The men's discount section seems to be smaller than at other DSWs.
18. Potbelly Sandwich Shop
Andrew: Parking around here is a nightmare during the lunch rush.
19. Barnes & Noble @ University of Houston
Andrew: Nice selection of hats.
20. Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q
Andrew: No one ever goes for the turkey, but the turkey is really good.
21. Lowbrow
22. Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches
23. Mandola's Deli
Andrew: Great sandwiches and staple Italian dishes. Gets pretty busy during lunch, but other hours it's really quick. UH student discount.
24. Cougar Woods Dining Hall
Andrew: All you can eat. Pretty good for a cafeteria. This location is nut free, and all locations serve halal meat now.
25. The Argyle League
Andrew: They offer drinks to waiting customers. Choices include at least bourbon, coffee, and water.
26. Menchie's Frozen Yogurt
27. January Advisors
Andrew: Give Jeff all of your business. He works harder than anyone I know.
28. Tutti Frutti
Andrew: It's a little empty in here compared to other froyo places, but they have some great flavors other places don't seem to get.
29. Half Price Books
Andrew: There's a section on Texas and Houston towards the front.
30. Boba Zone
Andrew: Wasn't as loud as similar places.
