I love flea markets and this was no different. Everything is on the floor, no stalls. It covers several streets. I am a brooch lover and I found some great ones. On Saturday, they pack up by 14:00.
If you catch the right angle, it looks like this building looks leke it has only the front wall, which of course is not true. It is also called the Devil’s House and the Witch’s House
It is the lazy way of getting back into town from the beach. More than that, they are beautifully painted with fun characters. It is great just to watch all the colourful cars go up and down
I was able to catch a service on Sunday - the interior is worth a glimpse - love all the mural paintings
It is I am sure the most photographed monument right in front of the City Hall. The plaque reads “to Pushkin - from the citizens of Odesa”
I very much liked staying at Marlin, central location, clean and spacious rooms, great variety at breakfast and friendly staff. It is in a calm area and safe too
It is without a doubt exquisite, the exterior looks like white icing on a pink candy coloured building, the stained glass and the stairs inside are worth checking out. Feels very royal. Go for drinks.

The palace which was donated by Grigori Marazli, an arts patron, to Odessa is as fine as the paintings and sculptures inside. Visit to admire the incredible paintings of Ayvazovskiy. Few english notes
This is the monument is dedicated to Steve Jobs. It was created by scrap metal on the first anniversary of his death. Sign says “thanks Steve” . The building behind is quite shabby in contrast
The building is very impressive, go inside to admire the dome. Pushkinska street from the station will lead you right to the heart of the city. #14 trolleybus to the airport stop is right in front.
It is so beautifully ornate inside - I had the good fortune to attend mass there - beautiful decorations. I also bought some home made goodies from the nuns just outside the church.
Odessa is a cheater really - you arrive at this really nice and new airport terminal which is quite modern and leave the city from the terminal which is very old with an exoensive duty free.
It is right in the middle of the pedestrian street “vul Derybasivska” where there is so much going on like music and dancing, it is full of energy, should not be missed for the entertainment
In fact I never stayed there - Yet I must say that the location is very central and I love that they are so pet friendly
It is the research institute / gallery and book store in one. There are usually great exhibitions on. It is free of charge and is usually open during the weekend
It is a little chapel within the grounds of Rixos hotel. Closed to visitors, can be visited by appointment. There is a really cute cafe in its garden area where the stained glass can be admired
The location is very convenient - just around the corner from the şişhane metro station - the portions are large and the prices reasonable - try the baked marshmallows for dessert - delicious
I love the architecture of this hospital. It is in a tough neighbourhood yet very clean and efficient. If you go in, please tour the pharmacy - so old and pretty. The church is closed

I actually love this restaurant for its setting, it feels like dining on water. The food is good yet not superb, portions are big, the prices are ok. Service friendly.
The chicken gyro I tried was pretty good, price very reasonable. The service is very slow
So picturesque - little restaurants and bars right on the water - very serene in the middle of the night
It is a windy and narrow road to reach there. Perched on the water, scenery is breathtaking. Try their eggplant and special shrimps. Prices reasonable. A tiny church right next door, feels serene
