Mozzarella croquets are on point.
Product designer at Facebook. List junkie.
The simplest, friendliest and hippest bike rental spot in SF.
Ride your bike across the bridge to Sausalito and then come here to sit outside, drink beer and eat amazing wood oven pizzas (the fennel sausage is my fav). Then just catch the ferry back home.
If you have a car, be sure to head up to Twin Peaks Summit on a sunny day for panorama views of the city. And the drive up is just as enjoyable as the view.
San Francisco has a consistent style of Italian food among it's many great Italian restaurants but Beretta is probably my favorite. I like the cocktails, meatballs and spicy Italian sausage pizza.
The Independent is one of San Francisco's treasures. You get to see great bands before they're big, the venue is the perfect size and you won't find any screaming teens.
Their cinnamon toast is the perfect reward for the bike ride out to Ocean Beach. Don't be put off by the price, just try it and you'll understand.
One of my favorite places for tacos and a great place to have dinner after exploring this corner of the city.
If you find yourself drunk and stumbling around the Mission, this is a necessary place to stop.
The perfect representation of modern San Francisco. A clash of hippies, hipsters, gays, Hispanics and plenty of white tech workers enjoying a rare sunny day and zero enforcement of booze and weed.
Garlic noodles and nothing else. Plan for a nap afterwards.
It changed owners a few ago and isn't quite the same, but it's still one of the best Indian spots in SF. It's also a little spicier than before.
Cheap but good in the way Dominos is good. Stick to the basics.
Come and discover that you're not a good cook and black out on reverse sake bombs. It's great fun!
A random but great industrial-style interior with fried chicken that can compete with Bonchon and Boka. Make sure you get a beer tower too.
Their cocktails are always great and their pork chop is amazing if you're staying for dinner.
Great wallets, not so into the round toe footwear.
It's crispier than your regular pizza. If that's ok then the seasonal veggie pizza is the go.
