@lorwich and I went on a short sojourn to New Orleans in March of 2010. Because I suck, I didn't check in and need this to remember where I went :)
1. Café du Monde
Michael Galpert: order beignets per person. be sure to cover yourself with napkins unless you enjoy the powdered sugar look
2. Nola Grocery
3. Cochon Butcher
4. The National WWII Museum
Vinicius Vacanti: come before 4 for the happy hour or your oysters will take 45 minutes
6. Mother's Restaurant
Benny Wong: Famous sandwich actually not that great. Jambalaya, on the other hand, is out of this world!
7. Garden District
superJennifer: Boundaries are: St. Charles Ave, 1st St, Magazine St & Toledano St. Developed between 1832-1900. One of the best preserved collection of historic southern mansions in the USA.
8. French Market
9. Gumbo Shop
Karen Smith: Get one of the little window box rooms for great people watching.
