Try the Challah French Toast. One particularly good version is stuffed w/ Peanut Butter, roasted peanuts & caramelized bananas in Rum Maple syrup. Brunch menu changes each weekend, check the website.

Everyday there is a new menu but you'll always find a new French toast creation everyday... Order that and you'll never go wrong!

Simply the warmest service and most delicious breakfast around, with an atmosphere that restores my spirit every time. I live 25 miles away, and make a special detour to Bella's any morning I'm near

You just don't find breakfast like this anywhere else. Truly awesome!

Watch out for false advertising! They offered me a $5 coupon for "liking" them on Facebook, and after I did, would not give me $5 off.

Love the food but get there early to avoid the wait.

The best brunch in new haven, and reasonable. Rotating menu, almost never disappointed. Be prepared to wait 30-60 min, and they don't take reservations.

    Eric Venker · August 30, 2014

Very friendly waitress and great shrimp n grits, but budget 3 hrs for brunch as they do not take reservations and food is served roughly an hr after ordering.

Try the French Toast Special - French toast stuffed with brie, topped with raspberry, blueberry, blackberry!

Always a long wait but there's a reason everyone has birthday brunch here. Not limited to eggs benedict but their hollandaise is addictive, bellinis in various flavors, One of New Haven's best spots

Try the Crispy Chicken Breakfast Burrito - The aftermath. It was amazing

French toast is amazeballs! But avoid the chilaquiles unless you like runny egg whites and overlooked steak :P

    Brittany Coleman · April 15, 2012

The salmon risotto special is so delicious! Also, bellinis and mimosas are great!

  • urbandata

The chiles rellenos (savory) and the dark chocolate-, brie- & raspberry-stuffed French toast (sweet) are among the best items here. If you are lucky, they will both be on the menu. Order them.
