Hell on earth
Warning: they put cinnamon and sugar on their sweet potato fries.
Awesome ship-themed playground with a nice picnic area. Have a nice stroll on the water and paddle boat ride afterwards.
Yes, they have the best bagels around. No contest. But the experience of buying a bagel here is painful. The counter people are slow, timid, and unorganized. And always too much cream cheese.
Dry, over cooked burgers. Watery, artificial tasting shakes. Burnt, bland sweet potato fries. Forget it.
Family friendly beach for sure. Parking is a pain on any nice day so be sure to come early.
Pretzel burger was pretty good! Service on a weekday at lunch is pretty slow though. Big lunchtime crowds.
What a great pool. Something for all ages here. A bit of theater whenever the lifeguards blow their whistle and spring into action too.
Lovely park. Say hi to the ducks & turtles in the pond and the carpenter bees on the bridge.
So nice to have this nearby but the lipophobia kills me. Impossible to find full fat dairy here!
They're usually very good at dealing with kids. Burgers are pretty great. The hot bread they bring out is no joke too.
My favorite hidden gem for NYC lunch. Hot food buffet is on point and they slice their cold cuts very thin for sandwiches. Also lots of Korean options here.
Get two if you're a grown ass man. Bleach your hands afterwards.
Lovely place to walk around. Lots of beautiful architecture inside and out.
Pancakes are just alright but my wife is a corned beef hash connoisseur and she says theirs is the best.
Big park, nice little carousel but it's a tough park to keep track of two kids. Lots of places to hide.
Worth every penny of admission. Seriously though, not much to look at compared to the one in NY.
Long lines and big crowds on rainy days. You can skip the line by buying tix on your phone and pick them up at the welcome counter IF you can navigate their mobile site.
