Great service, and even better food.
Fried mama noodles were so delicious we ordered a second portion. Wish there were more noodles than bacon and meat tho.
View and ambience were fantastic but food was really forgettable. Spend the money if you wanna impress a date. Don't go there for food.
We stayed in the white suite and it was spacious and well-designed. Not a luxury hotel tho. Club floor is ridiculously crowded and lotsa scavengers snatching food. No exclusive feel at all.
The most insane Long Island tea ever! Laden with so much alcohol! How can one not get drunk on this? Unless of cos mr bartender adores us so much to give us extra shot! ;)
Horrible air circulation. Even the lounge was stuffy. Seriously, a long way to go to be an international airport.
Horrible service at every counter. Check in counter didn't give departure cars. Customs q was cut by Indian nationals without explanation. Security check was a pain everyone took their own sweet time
Very basic conference hotel. Hot water supply is not reliable. Be prepared to get a cold shock in the midst of your shower. No shower gel, only soap. Hair dryer went bonkers on 2nd use.
The 3-bedroom villas have the best view in the entire resort. Seriously, you aint see uluwatu if u havent stood at the edge of the infinity pool in this villa.
Indeed as the welcome letter said, I'm back to my Balinese home. Team behind Alila is just awesome. The villa is impeccable. Alila redefines Bali wit's warm hospitality and gorgeous villas. Thank u.:)
Great hotel, with well laid-out rooms and superb views (if u get the full ocean facing ones). Staff are sincere and helpful. Daily breakfast was a delight, and the chefs need to be praised for that.
Food is over-rated. Escargots were shriveled and over-laden w butter. Balinese prawns were uninspiring and you could definitely find better on the streetside. Homemade fettuccine was only decent dish.
Eko, the manager has been nothing but helpful to resolve all teething issues associated with this super new hotel. Am sure under his leadership, the team will overcome most things new hotels face.
All 5 staff present today were stumbled by their new tablet ordering system and out of which, only 1 auntie was taking orders, serving dishes and clearing tables. Real fucked up service.
Bolognese linguine here is my comfort food. Thin crust pizzas here are amazing. Wish there's more parking spaces tho.
For mains, we ordered the pork knuckle. As per the service crew's recommendation, this is certainly one of their specialities. Skin is crispy and meat is succulent. Definitely one of the best I had.
